Pathetic little pipsqueaks, aren't they? It is painful to watch such stupidity at play.

This is a truly great article from Steyn. I thoroughly enjoyed it. i'm so glad that he's back, I missed him during his hiatus.

I did a search for this article and didn't find it (I didn't do the search correctly, still learning, lol), so i started another, so glad that it already was posted, it needs to be read!!

One reason why the party has shriveled away to Greater New England plus the ''minority neighborhoods'' of a few cities is that it's all fringe, and no mainstream.

But it's such a big fringe, still, even if it is shrinking!

"It's not that Democrats don't count, it's that they CAN'T count."

Oh no! They demonstrated that in King County Washington. They determined just how many votes Gregoire was short and, lo and behold, they had just a few more that they "found."

"..to continually claim that Bush is a moron.."

Wouldn't it be great to have a button that reads "Moron Club in support of the Moron President." It would be hugely deflating to the Left, IMHO. Another good one would be "Morons vs. Useful Idiots."

"The problem is that the "useful idiots" inevitably became Democrats."

I agree with what you say. IMHO, the biggest problem facing the Dims is that their base is a big conglomerate of single-issue fanatics, all of which are factions whose only interest is THEIR OWN single issue. The only issue they can agree on is that a far Left candidate is most friendly to their own, individual single issue. I like the way they run their campaigns, i.e., they lose all the time.

"Unwittingly, these folks who can't get over 2000 may represent the magic formula for turning even the 'blue' states into 'red' states for 2008. They may be forgetting that there were many 'red' counties in the so-called 'blue' states. Didn't see any 'orange.' "

Don't lose sight of the fact that we have work to do during 2006. We need some additional Senators and some more Representatives.

"Perhaps someone could tell me what Boxing Day is also?"

That's the day that Canadians put their presents from liberal Canucks back in their boxes and go exchange them for presents Conservatives would have purchased for them.

"I don't always let the fact that they might be sitting in a wheelchair influence me. I have seen several get up out of their wheelchairs and push them away. Kinda spoils the effect."

Well, hey, maybe Jesus drove by in a convertible and performed a miracle.

Or as Republican Congresswoman Deborah Pryce summed up Thursday's Boxer rebellion: ''Their objection is a front for their lack of ideas.''

I got about half-way through the article when I thought, "This sounds very similar to Steyn", and lo and behold!

*Exactly* the same thing happened to me too!

<< - For the most part, the press now fulfill the same function for the party that kindly nurses do at the madhouse; if the guy thinks he's Napoleon, just smile affably and ask him how Waterloo's going.

Great line. >>

One of his best ever.

We need to help them become more consistent. : )

If the Democrats had created "The Wizard of Oz", Dorothy would have found a field full of scarecrows singing "If I Only had a Brain."

I wouldn't spend 1c for any of my local rags.

I still get the occasional phone call to subscribe, and I always tell them exactly why I won't buy.

"Your paper is so far to the left that Lenin is looking over his shoulder. It's a rag, and I won't support it."
