Homosexual Attorneys from Justice Department Advise Philadelphia Police On Arresting Christians

UPDATE: Homosexual Attorneys from Justice Department Advise Philadelphia Police On Arresting Christians One Internet news service says not to expect an investigation because of the involvement of the Justice Department homosexual attorneys

A few days ago I wrote you about the situation in Philadelphia in which four Christians were arrested. They are charged with eight crimes, including three felonies: possession of instruments of crime (a bullhorn), ethnic intimidation (saying that homosexuality is a sin), and inciting a riot (reading from the Bible some passages relating to homosexuality) despite the fact that no riot occurred.

They face a possible 47 years in prison and fines of $90,000 each. Now we have learned more about this horrible travesty of justice.

According to WorldNetDaily, "Homosexual attorneys from the U.S. Justice Department Civil Rights Division not only attended (the) large homosexual event…but they advised police on the scene who arrested 11 Christian protesters, says a source in the agency." (Charges against some of the Christians have been dropped.)

The WorldNetDaily article went on to say the U.S. Justice Department is "not likely to take up the cause of the five criminally charged Christians who believe Philadelphia officials violated their civil rights."

Did you catch that? The Justice Department will refuse to investigate the treatment of the arrested Christians because some homosexual attorneys from the Justice Department were advising the Philadelphia police on how to arrest the Christians!!!!

WorldNetDaily, quoting their source inside the Justice Department, said the Christians were charged with "ethic intimidation (hate crimes) 'at the recommendation of some of our (Department of Justice) attorneys who were at the march.'"

In fact, Chief Inspector Tiano, who serves as liaison to the homosexual community, testified at the preliminary hearing that he met at least four times with the organizers of the Outfest event in anticipation of the protesters' activities, presumably to discuss how to handle the "Christians" when they showed up at the event. He also said he had 40 officers on site that day. He did not meet with any of the Christians!

There appears to be collusion in this travesty of justice that goes to high levels of both the Justice Department and Philadelphia. A trail date will be set soon.

Would you stand with these Christians who are defending our constitutional right of free speech? We are asking you to stand with these four Christians.

Yes, Ashcroft is a true conservative. Just don't know how much actual support he was given by the administration while in his position.

The Scriptures themselves protest homosexuality (read Romans Chapter 1, the entire chapter).

So just a simple reading of the Bible in public might be declared "hateful" if folks like these certain Philly lawyers have their way.

As for me, I want to side with God on this issue. So I'll trust what the Scriptures say about homosexuality--in which God declares it to be sin.

Fine. Just don't go casting any stones just yet (for "All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God".)

Don't worry. I already know every day where I fall short of the glory of God.

I guess John the Baptist knew too. And the Apostles Paul, Peter, James, etc. But that didn't keep them from declaring the words of God and staying true to Him, even though it cost them their lives.

John the Baptist was arrested and beheaded because he told the king it was not lawful for him to have his brother's wife. (Mark 6:17-29)

Paul and others were arrested and put to death for preaching the words of God.

Remember, our examples are Jesus Christ and those early faithful believers.

I just pray that I will be faithful to the Lord, no matter what happens now or in the future.

I'm not wanting to throw stones at anyone. But I never want to say that which is evil is suddenly "good." (No matter how many times the world proclaims it to be so.)

Excellent comments. Just because a person admits "I'm not perfectly pure and holy" doesn't deny that person the right to know and speak the truth. And that is not being a hypocrite. It's being loyal and faithful to the truth.

I guess I'm still naive (foolish?) to be surprised by this. "Outrage" is not a strong enough word. I know all about hating the sin and loving the sinner, but I also know that Christians MUST STAND FOR CHRIST against this evil. In the eyes of God, these afflicted are members of our family in Christ. What does He expect of us?

We have the weapons and have been trained to fight, get to your knees warriors, and those in Philly, weather the storms and take to the streets in His Name.

And George Bush is silent. Nothing can be done, just like with illegal immigration. Think about it ...

Fine. Just don't go casting any stones just yet (for "All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God".)

And just exactly what the hell does that mean? Nobody is perfect, therefor nobody is allowed to express an opinion? This is typical left wing nonsense. There's a difference between being judgmental and using your judgment. What ever happened to "The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing". Nobody is perfect, pal. YOU are the one that need to learn that, and stop trying to hide behind it.

Please forgive if a link to the video of the arrest has been previously posted, but having just watched it I'm putting it up. Click on WATCH VIDEO from the Repent America site. This is truly a horror and a dire warning.

I ask that intercessors and prayer warriors be pinged, much thanks.

Are you out of your frigging mind?!

You sem to be trying to wage some type of cultural war against gays simply because you think the Bible supports it. Well, the Bible supports stoning gays to death as well-- you for that? How about adulterers? How about severely punishing anyone who lifts an object larger than an egg on the Sabbath for "working"?

If you and your fundamentalist, Buchanan-esque types (which feed the wacko left in America the ammunition they need to attack Christians as a whole, myself included) think you can legislate by the Bible, you're sadly mistaken. What happened to the classic conservative belief that we should stay out of people's personal business as long as we don't harm others? What happened to the uniquely American motto: "live and let live"?

Homosexuality may be a sin in God's eyes, but it's a matter of choice on this Earth, and I would never deign to believe myself so holy as to punish a queer for his behavior.
We will all be punished for our sins on judgement day, but I'll be damned if the government is going to get there first in America.

There's a battle going on. One isn't a religious fanatic just because he agrees that the Bible speaks against homosexuality. And opposing the open practice and support of homosexuality in our society does not mean that we are more judgmental than others. As you read this, you may be forming some unkind judgmental opinions of me. Even if you are not, a homosexual activist very likely would. We all have opinions, and opinions are formed by making judgments, and they in turn generally result in the formation of further judgments. But not all opinions are as valid as others. So, what is the basis for deciding right vs. wrong? Do you have a basis for such judgment?

The problem with legitimizing evil is that evil begets evil. Thus, we have homosexuals in government persecuting Christians. We have homosexuals in the education system promoting the teaching of homosexuality in our schools. We have homosexuals in Hollywood (and their sympathizers) inserting homosexual themes into almost every program on television and in the movies. Perhaps you don't think this is abhorrent to God. Remember Sodom and Gomorrah. Will God behave differently toward our country than He did to them?

Tolerance of evil is not a virtue, even if you clothe it with words about liberty. You seem to be concerned about religious people endangering the freedom of others. But the real danger today is the promotion of evil under the guise of liberty. The four in Philadelphia are experiencing the results of this. There's a battle going on. It's about liberty and morality. It's about the future of America, and whether America has a future.
