"Perhaps they have taken note that incidence of “air rage” only became prevalent AFTER smoking was banned on aircraft."

Interesting. Why are smokers more violent than non-smokers?

Richard Reed wasn't a smoker. Yet he wanted to take down the whole airline. Now that's what I call violent!

Quiet, but violent. We never know what lurks beneath someone's collar.

If you remember from yesterday's thread, and all the people that were killed or maimed, just because they smoke, were not violent. It was the anti-smokers that hurt and killed them. So, no. Violence is found in the heart's of people. And not all of them are smoker's.

This behavior is not restricted solely to tobacco smokers.

All addicts experience anxiety when they're unable to "fix".

They're not.
By far the greatest incidence of "air rage" is over alcohol...

How do you glom this?

I smoke cigars and have never once committed assault, murder or any other form of violent crime.

Because they are sick and tired of being told how to live. They are not little kids. Until they outlaw tobacco, its a legal product. Smokers are not more violent then nonsmokers. As a matter of fact, look at the people who attempt assinations on politicians etc. Most of them are tobacco hating liberals!

Actually, it's when smokers suddenly become non-smokers that they turn.
