Amber Alert Issued for 2 Year Old California Boy

The LAPD and the California Highway Patrol issued the Amber Alert after the boy was abducted by force in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon.
Jason Murdock-Steel, 2 yrs., white male, 3'1", 28 lbs with blond hair and blue eyes.
Police are looking for three suspects. A white female, 30 to 35 years old, 5'7", 130 lbs. wearing a long blue coat.
Also, a white male, 200 lbs, 30 to 35 years and heavy set.
Also an oriental male, 6'2", 30 to 35 years, large build with bushy eyebrows wearing a military jacket.
The suspect vehicle is a 2002 black Ford Pick Up with California tag 6W95060. A second vehicle is described as a white 2002 station wagon 4 door with no further description.
Anyone with information is asked to call the LAPD Pacific Division at 877-ASK-LAPD (877 275-5273) or dial 911.

Prayers for this child's safe return. And prayers for his parents who I'm certain are beyond consolation right about now.
I would imagine so...I know personally how this feels, except that I knew who had my babies.
I pray for the boy to be returned safely, and the family to be comforted.

There sure isn't much information is this alert. Granted they have descriptions of the vehicles and kidnappers, but I wonder where in LA the child was when abducted. I imagine he was with one or both of his parents or could have been at a daycare facility. Just seems like the more infomation provided would help the public retrace their steps at the time and possibly recall some helpful detail.
Father, I lift up little Jason to You. Give us hope, Father, for we pray to You - and You are God.

Last night, briefly saw part of a news interview with the mother. I don't know where they were but she stated the child was pulled from her arms... very strange.
Oh, that is strange. Doesn't sound good.

28 pounds for a 2-year-old? Is that normal?
My pediatrician seems to think our 28 pound 2 year old is quite healthy. He is very muscular and lean with not much baby fat on him. He eats a lot of fruit and healthier snacks (his personal preference).
About average for a two year old (although my 6 year old was heavier at that age).
Thanks for telling me. I'd forgotten how much toddlers should weigh and 28 pounds just didn't sound heavy enough.
