It sounds like the President is trying to appeal to the Libertarian wing of the Republican party.

A Great Moment In History:
The U.S.S Cole limping back to port with Kid Rock's, "American Badass" blasting over it's speakers.
It was a beautiful, yo.

Please. How much Pat Boone music can we take? A little variety never hurt.

I'm schocked that there actually some conservative supporters out there who would find any rocker acceptable. Im sure many of you always dissed even Pat Boone when he was in his later heavy metal and leather mode. Kid Rock is just entertainment, he's not a role model. Anyone foolish enough to use an entertainer as their role model is a true fool. Lighten up.

If this is hosted by the Bush Twins, shouldn't their requests be heard as well?
I never have liked Wildmon.

Why is Kid Rock doing this? Is he a Republican?

The rappers lyrics often focus on the recreational nature of sex...I am not sure that running against the "recreational nature of sex" is exactly a winning campaign theme.

Kid Rock is not a choir boy but he does support the troops and I believe he also supported Bush in the election.
Someone will correct me if I'm wrong about that.

I'd rather have a vulgar American Patriot than a liberal whiner there. He's done a lot for the troops, too.
He'll grow out of it.

I'd be happy if they traded Kidd Rock for Third Day instead.

Does anyone really think Kid Rock will use the "f" word at this party? C'mon. And Wildmon is really showing his age. Someone tell him that Lawrence Welk is dead!

Kid Rock is one of the few celebs who actually support Bush and the troops. I will give him props for that. Plus his music rocks.

Oh Come on! Not all Republicans are bastions of virtue. Some of us wear our hair long. Kick our heels up (though not as high since I turned 40), drink a bit (not me personally, you get the idea) chase the ladies now and then, and curse a blue streak. But we are as Republican as everyone else. I am Pro-life, Pro-Gun, Have little love or trust for our government, worship the prinsiples of our Constitution. Kid Rock walks on the wild side, but he has more in common with Republicans in his views that the Dems. Believe me, he knows he is an entertainer and does not take himself seriously. I am as Conservative and Republican as they come. I just don't look it. Kid Rock doesn't look it either.

Kid Rock is a big Bush supporter...and he supports the troops. I assume he will keep things relatively clean during his performance. Not everyone that voted for Bush is conservative in their music tastes.

You know, since this is like the third posting of this, I'm gonna change my stance...
I'm GLAD that KR is gonna perform. I'd much rather have him performing than say, Eminem. If this ticks off the Puritans, then more power to him. Some folks are getting entirely too big for their britches, and it's starting to make me mad.
I'll take a conservative with a potty mouth over a "clean" liberal any day.
