Forgive me for sounding mother hennish, but if it isn't, reconsider. 8^(

All three are likely to meet somewhere in the nation's midsection and cause even more problems, sparing only areas east of the Appalachian Mountains.
Glad I live in Charlotte!!!
No. The house is on high ground, but surrounded by flood water---just can't get in or out until water recedes. I'm stocked up.
It's already been reconsidered.....Have two offers to get dad to Dr appointments or cancel them......Depending on weather there....
But you are absolutely correct....and I get "mothered" even by dad.
Stay safe.
LOL Well done!
Since this is the 6th time since 1998, I'm getting to be an old hand at this. Thanks.
The 6th hundred year flood since 1998......sounds about right!!!
What's the Thursday forecast for Washington DC? Are the DUmmie election protesters gonna get wet and cold?
BTW - Central OK - Sleet, ice, ice pellets and COLD.
I've got a name for it: "The Illegal Alien Express".
Bad weather doesn't stop at the Rio Grande Express?
Raining on Cities American Storms Won't Express?

"You're talking a two- or three-times-a-century type of thing," said prediction center senior meteorologist James Wagner, who's been forecasting storms since 1965. "It's a pattern that has a little bit of everything."
Bush's fault - bump!
Now where's my bookie? I'll bet against the end of the world every time! :-)
I'm loving the no snow situation. But I gotta say, a big snowstorm can be really fun. It sort of brings people together and gives a small town feeling.
This is Minnesota though, and we have a few months left. I'm sure something will hit sooner or later.
Strange, but true. At the first one, the authorities were widely quoted as saying this is such a rare event...termed it a "hundred-year flood...and that it was extremely unlikely to happen again. New and massive dikes were built around the nearby town (which was completely isolated for one week in the '98 flood) to prevent the waters from Wills creek to encroach on the town. And, for 6 years, it didn't flood. But, come this past summer and fall...
FEMA has been here since this summer and have what appears to be a permanent office set-up.
Been thinking that Jeb Bush would be a good FEMA director!
remember a few years back....when my husband was mowing the lawn in Indianapolis on December 3rd....hardly had any snow that Winter.....now....within a 2-3 week span...we've had 19 inches of snow (Greenwood)....now it's all gone.....
Sure enough. Jeb does have the commensurate experience.
