What is wrong with John McLaughlin? He just pronounced Hans Blix the most honest person of the year and Tereza the most underrated.

Has he ever been right?
Rarely.

McLaughlin has seemed to be a little more crusty in his old age...Any who lets both Buchanan and Clift on his show has a bi-polar disorder IMHO.

Which ever is correct, it's time for that old buzzard to retire.

Me too, I gave him up over a year ago. His last brush with common sense occurred more than 3 years ago...

Has he ever been right? I always thought he was ok, but hadn't really watched much in the last year or two.

McLaughlin has seemed to be a little more crusty in his old age...Any who lets both Buchanan and Clift on his show has a bi-polar disorder IMHO I went to a taping of it once. It was eleanor, Jack Germond, Freddy Beatle Bailey Barnes, and I think Mort Kondracked. What was funny was all the guys were all chummy and joking around before and after the show, and they did not say a word to Eleanor when she came or left.

As
The McLaughlin Group gets increasingly irrelevant, its denizens get increasingly controversial.
McLaughlin's program show has become the political-shout-show equivalent of The Jerry Springer Show.

Bitter John hates all Bushes. I would love to see the panel's year end predictions for the last five years and how much of it turned out to be right, especially "know it all" Eleanor.

He acts like a guy who's been socializing with Bush-hating liberals and now has completely adopted their point of view. Arianna Huffington is another one.
