I still say provisional ballots = ways to defaud an election. If our found fathers believed in them, they would have put it in and practiced it early on.

I've been saying for a while now that there should be a comparrison between the number of votes cast, and the number of votes tallied. I'm glad that someone has looked into the matter.

Since Precinct 1823 counted 343 ballots, and there are only 272 voters, then it shouldn't be too difficult to track down and verify these voters. (much easier they verifying 900,000 votes)

If I recall the map correctly, King was the only "blue" county. It doesn't matter, Seattle has such an insanely huge population that it drives the whole state. It's pretty much the same thing with Illinois.

Look, Washingtonians do not grow from spores. These dynamics are common and the WA GOP can only do so much on the ground. Longer term, it's better for everyone for Rossi to fight this to the bitter end, unless Rossi thinks playing the good guy will get him nominated to the Bush administration. He has nowhere else to go.

Seattle doesn't speak for all of Washington, its population simply drowns the rest of Washington.

Are we to believe that King County had a 100% turnout even if we believed the canvassing board that the data lists were simply incomplete?

Provisional and absentee ballots are being manipulated in ways that are illegal. I'm a firm believer that only US military and state department personnel stationed overseas ought to get absentee ballots. I also think the voting stations ought to be curtailed throughout various counties, and open up one massive voting center in each county for a week. Once you walk in the front door...you show a state ID (otherwise, you get kicked out of the voting center). At the end of the week, counting votes becomes a very simple task. You have a limited number of absentee ballots to mess with...and only the folks with state ID cards get to vote. As for those in hospitals...I feel sorry for them...but its their tough luck they couldn't vote.

Hey now, please stick the bashing to a particular poster and not an entire state.

As a Texas (who two years ago lived in Washington) I say stay there and give them hell.

Such a pretty state, especially where I was right on the sound, it would be a shame to let the democrats keep it.

Folks in Countries other than Texas have always been jealous.
They can't help it and I don't blame 'em.

Gun show in Pasadena today, by the way.

Well move to a Red state and if all you poor effers who live in blue states would do likewise it would not be long before the socialist state would crumble and then Conservatives could take over.

But... but... but.... if all the (upper-case c) Conservatives took your advice and ran away, who's to take over when the state crumbles? The (upper-case c) Conservatives who ran away? They don't live there any more. They're tied into houses and jobs and churches and communities somewhere else.

Nice thinking.

I never understood why someone would glue themselves to a geographical region and mindlessly cling to it as though it was a religion or something.
I left Kansas because it was boring. I left Arizona cause there was more money to be made in California and I left there when it went irretrievably Left.

This makes it all clear. I strongly suggest you stay out of the pastoral professions -- you're exhibiting a psychological deficiency that shows you're clearly not cut out for them.

I can assure you that mercy has not been elected as the spokesperson from Texas.

BELIEVE me you would not want me as a spokesperson. Texas is a lot more free than most states and the weather is good. Don't get me started on Texans.

Better you than 80% of the people I live near in Austin.

Austin wants so badly to be the King County of Texas. Fortunately it is too darn small to count for anything.

Oh no, I am not surrendering. Read the tagline. No way.

I do remember, however, 2 events from my Washington State days that proved the place was changing. One involved 2 women who literally turned their noses up at a passerby, which made me think the 2 were transplants, as natives at the time wouldn't have done that. Another involved a California transplant who was upset that he couldn't find a plumber on New Year's Day to work for him on the house he was building.

The spelling should have been woolly, from the days of women burning guys' socks in bars and such. Great days were those. J. C. (did, after all), made Seatlle's streets under protest. Let's see........Do I remember any of the names? Juniper?, Cherry, Sixth, Pike and Pine..........

Austin's a freeking joke. It tells you a lot about Texans that they would allow their premier university, sporting 40,000 students, to become a liberal hellhole. Shoot they don't even know.

BELIEVE me you would not want me as a spokesperson.

Believe me, I believe you. Anybody that would depict another's entire state as a sh*thole will never represent me.

Texas is a lot more free than most states and the weather is good.

You don't need to be describing Texas to me!

Don't get me started on Texans.

No, by all means, get started!
