damn those stingy Americans. I guess they really should raise our taxes so the government can give more away.
/sarcasm
Americans... the heart of a Champion.
That settles it. We suck and it's all Bush's fault.
Btw, great story ;-)
Contrary to the opinions and demands from the leftist MSM and the U.N. ..... DO NOT SEND CASH!
The United States of America has nothing to be defensive about. Not one thing.
These contributions only known about by readers, viewers and listeners of the NY Post, Fox News, talk radio and Free Republic.

MY RE$PONSE IS 'OUTCREDIBLE'
Thus proving we're the stingiest nation on Earth, that only the UN is capable of handling relief funds and that Bush is responsible for global warmingcooling.
FYI
those cheap Americans!

A secretary went through our office yesterday taking donations for the victims. Everyone, and I mean everyone, couldn't wait to donate. $5, $10, $20, whatever was in their pocket. Heard some execs made out some checks, too.
I'm know this is being repeated all across our nation, and anyone who insinuates the the US is stingy can go eff themselves.
SO sick of the haters.
and yet the BBC is reporting as if it is the UN responsible for all aid.
You only hear about efforts from everyone OTHER than the USA.
(we help DESPITE our people being decapitated, and our misionaries murdered by rebels.)
We do and will always do the right thing regardless, the left will always and has always used disaster as opportunity for political gain. Germany is manuvering to sell concrete, france to sell computers.

The homepage of the Presbyterian Church (USA) has a link to donate. Funds have already been advanced to the affected tsunami disaster areas by the PDA (Presbyterian Disaster Assistance) Program, which is part of a network of ecumenical organizations. The PDA specializes in providing sanitation and medicine kits. By the way, all PCUSA mission workers in the affected areas are safe and accounted for.
We did our donation through a Catholic online organization. I was watching FNC the other day and they had the sum of the monies from each nation, France gave $1.36 million as opposed to our $35 million and GB's $29 million. What a bunch of tight a$$es.
An American hug bump!
