Carloads of Muslim New Yorkers, all U.S. citizens, were detained for hours by federal agents after they returned from an Islamic convention held in Toronto over the weekend. A Pace University student said she was asked by a border patrol officer at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge crossing whether the wire in her bra was a weapon. A white Flushing resident said U.S. officials refused to tell her why she was being held for eight hours.
"It's just appalling," said Jean Tassi, 53. "If I didn't have on a head covering, I would have never been stopped."
A U.S. Customs and Border Protection official said agents acted on intelligence that conventioneers may have terrorists in their cars.
"We understand that most of these conferences are legitimate, but it is our duty, it is incumbent on us to verify the identity of everybody entering the U.S. - even citizens," said Kristi Clemens, a Washington spokeswoman. "I understand their frustration."
More than 30 people had attended "Reviving the Islamic Spirit" convention at the Skydome that was billed as a spiritually uplifting event.
"I refuse to be treated like this in my own country," said Miriam Soliman, 20, a Brooklyn-born finance major who said she was interrogated about her underwire bra.

But allow me on last explanation, perhaps "unconscious" was the wrong word, I meant that it was as natural to them as the blink of an eye, the beat of their hearts. It does not make them "bad" men, it makes them misguided, BUT it was the way things were THEN. Washington may have felt that the ownership of slaves was repugnant, but he did nothing other than treat them well, relatively speaking, because they were a necessity.

The ONLY confusion about Muslims and radical terrorist is maybe what percentage are terrorists and what percentage are peaceful pagan worshipers.
I totally think the Muslim religion is a cult based on the moon god. But I want to make the distinction that I don't think all Muslims are terrorist or have terrorist goals.
I don't care at all if they want to worship Monica Lewinsky's blue stained dress as a religion, as long as they don't disturb or attack others in any way.
The fact it is a pagan religion whose dogma was set by a madman called Mohammad doesn't make me believe they are ALL terrorists.
I do believe based on what we see, hear and have learned, that maybe the low number of terrorists within each nation on average might be 40% or higher. Some nations maybe 80% or more.
Those that are terrorists or have that kind of thinking should convert their thinking to peace, or expect to be killed.
I do not want to see peaceful people who worship a pagan god die. I do not think you do. I do think there is a super large portion in each of these Middle East countries that will need killing.
THAT, is the brutal and disappointing issue with the Muslim faith.
The peaceful ones are also cowards for hardly ever denouncing terror. The fact they are so weak, scared or corrupted that they can't oppose terror in a public forum, proves that it is a defective cult.
Kill all Muslims? No!
May we end up having to slaughter great population percentages because of the high infection rate of terror? I am very sad to say quite possibly so and that doesn't put a smile on my face at all.
Certainly it is a threat by what it says.
The thing is, just as we have Christians who were raised and such, but never go to church or really practice the religon... Muslims have a percentage of followers that are not that into it, so they don't get into the Jihad baloney.
They are not all terrorist, but their cult does grow them rapidly.

Sure. And my opinion is that anyone who makes a bigoted proposal to "handle" the War on Terror ought to suffer that same thing he or she proposes, first.
