Gosh, he was great on those early Law and Orders... I used to watch those all the time on A + E.

I always liked him. How sad...

Reggie White, Jerry Orbach, who's #3?

Darn darn darn. I didn't know he had prostate cancer and was just recently wondering why he was no longer on Law & Order. Sad news.

Are they going to write him out of Law And Order? He's been around practically forever so this comes as something of a shock. Jerry Orbach WAS the quintessential New Yorker. He lived his entire life in the city.

Another fine actor lost. The list of living "fine actors" is growing thin.

That is certainly some very bad news. I liked the guy.

Oh, my.

Orbach was certainly the best-loved character in the original Law and Order TV series. He was also famous for his voice acting role as Lumiere in the animated feature Beauty and the Beast.

He will be sorely missed.

I am so sorry to hear this. He WAS Law & Order. I guess this might explain his departure this past season.
