A decade after the Kennedys sold off their Palm Beach estate in the wake of the William Kennedy Smith rape trial, the celebrated clan has made a return to the posh beachfront community.
Reports the Boston Herald's Inside Track:
"Snowbird Ethel Kennedy, who has put the family nest Hickory Hill in Virginia up for sale for $25 million, has settled into a $2.2 million three-bedroom rental on a private beach on North Ocean Boulevard."
The Kennedy widow is reportedly planning to stay for six months, or until it's time to head north to the family compound in Hyannis Port.
The family started making itself scarce in Palm Beach after Smith's 1991 acquittal on charges that he raped Patricia Bowman at the old estate after a night of carousing with Uncle Ted.
After matriarch Rose Kennedy died in 1995, the family unloaded the crumbling 1920s property for $5 million.
Who bought that Kennedy house down there?
Somebody better warn Rush.......
Like swallows returning to Capistrano or whales returning to the Gulf of California...........
Bad Pennies
I don't know. Here's a link to the house in McLean, VA if you're interested and the price has been dropped to a mere $20 million!

Or criminals returning to the scene of the crime!
Laying groundwork for that "inevitable" Arnold run for Prez? That's what Teddy's been pushing since he won for Governor.
It's a good thing the Democrats are looking out "for the little guy."
Just what Palm Beach County needs, more Democrats!
Tax dodge.
" Like swallows returning to Capistrano or whales returning to the Gulf of California..........."
More like the buzzards returning to Hinckley, Ohio.
Now Teddy...(hic) ...can blame.......(burp)..... His "rosey red" nose....(hic) ......on the Hot Florida .......(belch) ....... Sun !
I've always read it was a dump, with trash everywhere. I suspect she paid somebody to clean it up!
I know some people who have been there, it's no dump.
