I guess it never occured to them, if such a thing should happen, the first thing we'd do is warn law enforcement agents to stay the hell out of it.

Sorry, but I'm sticking with "Diaper Heads" as my term of choice.

True. But then, Reagan was subject to that curse and he beat it. And Bush has already broken the J.Q. Adams Curse and the "Incumbent's-Party-Has-Its-Ass-Handed-to-It-in-the-First-Midterms" Curse. So, I'm not too worried.

Since they're planning to turn their backs on the President, it's going to be a little difficult to get a good shot.

Not that I believe in this sort of thing but...
1840 - William Henry Harrison elected - Dies in office.
1860 - Abraham Lincoln elected - Assassinated.
1880 - James Garfield elected - Assassinated.
1900 - William McKinley reelected - Assassinated.
1920 - Warren Harding elected - Dies in office.
1940 - FDR reelected - Dies in office.
1960 - JFK elected. Assassinated.
1980 - Ronald Reagan elected - Survives assassination attempt.
2000 - George W. Bush elected - Hopefully Reagan broke the streak!!

I like your way of thinking, p.
I've got a lot of LEO friends who don't want to be in my field of sight, when TSHTF. They know to stay low, and far away.

"Malleus maleficarum" explicitly prescribed extreme thermal treatment for those possessed by "pythonic spirit". This Hassan al-Sharibi seems to be a garden variety pythoniac.

Reagan broke the curse by signing a bill that granted the Shawnee tribe big bucks in the 80's.

They are literally calling for civil war and massive armed uprisings.Armed RATS? Never happen. But say it did. They go out and buy firearms. Think they can muster the guts or the brains to not only use them effectively but work as enough of a team? Heck, the Black PREACHERS would prolly start shooting at the gay newlyweds first!

FDR reelected - Dies in office. I never understood how this could be considered part of a "curse" of some sort. It's not like FDR was elected for the first time one November and then died suddenly a few months later. He was in office for about a bazillion years, and was re-elected so many times that anything other than "dies in office" would have been considered unusual for him.

You have to wonder about their way of thinking.
They seem to think they can play "freedom fighter" as long as they want, then hide behind "the rule of law" when things get too hot.
Remember the DUmmy that said he was going to stick freepers with an AIDS infected needle at freeps? Can you believe that asshat actually said that's what he was going to do, and somehow thinks he's going to make it back to his car alive if someone feels the stick?

Watching the DUnatics over at Democrat Underground, I believe him. They are literally calling for civil war and massive armed uprisings. You mean all the pro gun control, non gun-owning, fanatics want an "armed" rebellion.
Oh goody.
Think turkey shoot. $0.25 per liberal.
