Not that I believe in this sort of thing but...
1840 - William Henry Harrison elected - Dies in office.
1860 - Abraham Lincoln elected - Assassinated.
1880 - James Garfield elected - Assassinated.
1900 - William McKinley reelected - Assassinated.
1920 - Warren Harding elected - Dies in office.
1940 - FDR reelected - Dies in office.
1960 - JFK elected. Assassinated.
1980 - Ronald Reagan elected - Survives assassination attempt.
2000 - George W. Bush elected - Hopefully Reagan broke the streak!!

FDR reelected - Dies in office. I never understood how this could be considered part of a "curse" of some sort. It's not like FDR was elected for the first time one November and then died suddenly a few months later. He was in office for about a bazillion years, and was re-elected so many times that anything other than "dies in office" would have been considered unusual for him.
