WASHINGTON - Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.), who championed renewable energy in his presidential bid, yesterday said he won't take a stand on the proposed Cape Cod wind farm until the Army Corps of Engineers completes its environmental impact report next year. ``After this process is complete and the environmental impact statement is final, Sen. Kerry will make a decision based on the best interest of our state and our energy future,'' said Kerry spokesman David Wade.

"My plan will focus on finding new sources of energy," the Massachusetts senator said in a speech that focused on energy issues. "We will make clean coal a real part of our energy future. ... We will ensure that by the year 2020, 20 percent of our electricity comes from renewable sources like wind, solar, biomass or other options."
He forgot to add, "But not in my backyard."
Can you say Hypocrite? I knew that you could.
Bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Cut him some slack. After all, if you were the Curry wouldn't windsurfing and kite surfing be more important than cheap renewable energy for a northern tier state?
Flip Flop
The hot air from Kerry's mouth could power several windmills.
Does any political party have an actual plan to end energy dependence? Can someone tell us what that plan is?
Well, as far as producing hot air and breaking wind, Kerry himself is a rich source of renewable energy and ought to be rigged to an electrical generator. He alone could produce enough energy to light a big Christmas tree, and heat a homeless shelter or two...
Surprise, surprise...
Teresa own the Cape house where they have a few SUVs hidden in the back. John Effin' owns owns no real estate there but he has a million dollar yacht he may moor there.
I'm opposed to it. I don't live near the cape, but I have sailed past that area and I think windmills would be a gigantic eyesore.
Then again, I don't pretend that we can solve our national energy problems with solar cells or windmills. We can't. At most they would add one or two percent to energy production. The only feasible alternative to fossile fuel use is nuclear power, and I doubt whether Senator Flipflop has the guts to support that.
Notice he says that he wants to wait for the Army Corps of Engineers completes its environmental report. But he doesn't say that he will take their advice. When they report he will stick his finger in the wind and listen to what the environmentalists say about the report before he commits himself. Also what his biggest donors say.
Classic example of elitism.
He's running.
Not exactly correct...
There is Naushon Island.
But don't try to go there...it's ONLY for the elites!
---no, they don't--because any real plan for energy independence starts with the word or words "nuclear" or "domestic coal" or both---
Yep, Kerry is a Bloviating Windbag! No Wonder that the Swiftees upset their lives to save Our Country from a degenerate Playboy.
Naushon Island....... His ex-wife was Forbes and Forbes family owns a lot of this island. John Effin' owns jack over there. Besides, there are islands owned by the super rich off of the Maine coast that are a lot nicer and less spoiled.
