PSALM 110:3 |

... in the brightness of the saints: from the womb before the day star I begot thee

Matthew 2:2 - Where is he that is born king of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the East, and are come to adore him.

|

For a CHILD IS BORN to us, and a son is given to us, and the government is upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, God the Mighty, the Father of the world to come, the Prince of Peace. |

MICAH 5: 2-4 |
||
And thou Bethlehem Ephrata, art a little one among the thousands of Juda, out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be the ruler in Israel: and his going forth is from the beginning, from the days of eternity. Therefore will he give them up even till the time wherein she that travaileth shall bring forth: and the remnant of his brethren shall be converted to the children of Israel. And he shall stand, and feed in the strength of the Lord, in the height of the name of the Lord, his God: and they shall be converted, for now shall he be magnified even to the ends of the earth.

God Bless FreeRepublic!
Thank you for your beautiful post, from the San Francisco Bay Area.
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to all!
Merry Christmas, AAABEST.
Many who read this thread may know about Jesus Christ, may even acknowledge that He is God but without being introduced to Him personally. If that describes you and you would like to know Him, pray a prayer similar to this,
Lord Jesus, I need you. I know that you are God but I've never committed my life to you. I open the door of my heart and receive you as Savior and Lord. Thank you that you are going to make me into the kind of person you want me to be. Amen."
That is it. Read the Bible, page by page, and get to know Him. Talk to Him frequently as you would your best friend. He will guide your life.
From my house to yours,
The Christ-child lay on Mary's lap,
His hair was like a light.
(O weary, weary were the world,
But here is all aright.)
The Christ-child lay on Mary's breast,
His hair was like a star.
(O stern and cunning are the kings,
But here the true hearts are.)
The Christ-child lay on Mary's heart,
His hair was like a fire.
(O weary, weary is the world,
But here the world's desire.)
The Christ-child stood on Mary's knee,
His hair was like a crown,
And all the flowers looked up at Him,
And all the stars looked down.

Pax Domini Sit Semper Vobiscum
And Elizabeth's baby leaped in her womb when she came in the presence of Mary. It would appear that this "blob of protoplasm" (sarc) knew he was in the presence of the Most High God, even though baby Jesus was in his first trimester.
God bless us every one!!
Merry Christmas!!
Merry CHRIST Mass!
Best wishes for a Blessed and Merry Christmas to all!
Holy and joyous Christmass to all
Merry Christmas, Blessings and the Peace of Christ to you, your families, and all whom you love!
New Heaven, New War
Come to your heaven, you heavenly choirs,
Earth hath the heaven of your desires;
Remove your dwelling to your God,
A stall is now his best abode;
Sith men their homage do deny,
Come, Angels, all their fault supply.
His chilling cold doth heat require,
Come, Seraphins, in lieu of fire;
This little Ark no cover hath,
Let Cherubs' wings his body swath;
Come, Raphael, this Babe must eat,
Provide our little Tobie meat.
Let Gabriel be now his groom,
That first took up his earthly room;
Let Michael stand in his defence,
Whom love hath link'd to feeble sense;
Let Graces rock when he doth cry,
Let Angels sing his lullaby.
The same you saw in heavenly seat,
Is he that now sucks Mary's teat;
Agonize your King a mortal wight,
His borrowed weed lets not your sight;
Come, kiss the manger where he lies,
That is your bliss above the skies.
This little Babe so few days old,
Is come to rifle Satan's fold;
All hell doth at his presence quake,
Though he himself for cold do shake;
For in this weak, unarmed wise,
The gates of hell he will surprise.
With tears he fights and wins the field,
His naked breast stands for a shield;
His battering shot are babish cries,
His arrows made of weeping eyes,
His martial ensigns cold and need,
And feeble flesh his warrior's steed.
His camp is pitched in a stall,
His bulwark but a broken wall;
The crib his trench, hay stalks his stakes,
Of shepherds he his muster makes;
And thus as sure his foe to wound,
The Angels' trumps alarum sound.
My soul with Christ join thou in fight,
Stick to the tents that he hath dight;
Within his crib is surest ward,
This little Babe will be thy guard;
If thou wilt foil thy foes with joy,
Then flit not from the heavenly boy.

Merry Christmas, AAABEST!
Merry Christmas!
May God bless each of you throughout the year.
Oh, it's a black oak. We add ornaments to a live tree each year. This year we added pigs rooting for acorns (we just got wild hogs on the land) and appropriate leaves, along with our promise to care for it (you'll note the climber with his saw and the acorns).
See tagline. We'll plant it tomorrow.
