"Merry Christmas to all of our Polish Freepers.
Although I'm of Italian-Irish heritage myself, I join in your greetings. I'm particularly proud of the way the British, Poles and Italians (among many others) stood firm in Iraq."

We got about 3 to 4 inches yesterday, did my first real shoveling of the season.I grew up in the New York City metro area, and remember many winter snowstorms. To a child, the very first snow of the season is always magical. To their parent, however, it's another story...grin.

I did sled last year, even though I fear a broken bone or two, I'll do it again this year. There is nothing more exilerating than a quick ride down a slippery slope.
