As I said, the GOP ought to be filing a motion to reject the hand count because there is not a single standard for verifying them statewide, therefore it is a violation fo the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment.

Classic Dem strategy ... count many times until they win then cease all counting and contrive a "unity" theme. All garbage!!! Check for fraud my friends!!!

If the Dems HAVE "won" by eight votes, surely there are nine Republican convicts or lunatics at various Washington state institutions somewhere who have been "disenfranchised" of their vote? :-D

I advise Rossi to sue to have every ballot in the state manually examined. The whole idea of manual recount is flawed...

Now THAT is an interesting idea. Take it to the US Supreme Court.

"Sounds "final" doesn't it?"

Indeed. Liberals at the AP appear to be wetting themselves once again.

2nd Correction. It's NOT Grand Larceny, a felony--it is constructive fraud and conspiracy against the State and its citizens. Civil rights violations as well as RICO Act felonies--maybe treason if the judge is grumpy enough. And probably tax evasion, maybe we could put the DNC in the slammer for THAT at least.

I think the standards issue is a can of worms for both sides.

Not sure how the counties could ever be completely consistent unless ballots were taken to a single location and counted by the same people.

Some would say electronic voting is an answer but I think it is even more subject to fraud and undetectable fraud at that (due to the possibility of swapping code in and out).

The question isn't what will the GOP do about it - I think we probably already know the answer

The question is what will the patriots who live and vote in Washington do about it...

I'm torn.

I HATE what they are doing. I despise the idea of that woman sitting in the Governor's office because she stole the election. But, I refuse to act like the Democrats. Bush won 2000, circumstances in this case are different, but I won't act like they did.

Just going to quietly work to build support for a Rossi run at the Senate IF Gregoire is allowed to get away with this farce. People in WA, including Dems, are not happy at what the Party is doing in this recount. We have the old blue collar Dems and then we have the Liberals that make San Francisco seem conservative. Libs are gambling the b.c. Dems won't revolt over this at the ballot box. We'll see.

The results of the last recount necessary gave the win to the Dim. I'm really shocked.

Now being reported by KOMO

If this holds, it will be the biggest crime in the history of the state.

i guess an 8 vote win is more believable than a 1 vote win

Incorrect. They are both equally obvious, equally fradulent acts of felonious vote-tampering.

"It's too bad that they can't call it a "Christmas Present" for Gregoire and the Democrats."

All right. "The Xmas Miracle."

We're not even steven. Bush never stole anything. He won three recounts. Gregoire, on the other hand, one the third recount quite suspiciously with questionable votes suddenly appearing as if Ali Baba had pulled them out of a hat.

I know that. But since nothing can convince the deluded far-lefties that Bush didn't steal this election (as well as the last one--TWO elections in a row!), I'm just going to rub it in since they don't believe anything fishy is going on in WA--on the democrats' side, that is.

I thought they were hand counting the whole state. What about those folks who they went back to and whose votes didn't get counted if they voted for Rossi?

I am not sure of the details here - what does WA use, optical scan ballots? punch cards? there are plenty of ways that different methods could skew the results, but of course, it first has to be shown that they were indeed different.
