well then, the only recourse left is whether they re-counted with different standards in King, then in the rest of the counties. not sure about that, I know there are some WA freepers who are more in the know about that.
but if the 561 are excluded (as they should be, regardlessof who wins), and the case cannot be made that different standards were used in this county - then the Dem win by 8 will likely stand.
I'm not embarrassed by anything that makes liberals face facts. I advise Rossi to sue to have every ballot in the state manually examined.
The whole idea of manual recount is flawed; it's less accurate than a machine count. What they should do is inspect each ballot, and after divining voter intent or whatever crap they want to do, _then_ put it through the machine so the machine logs each count.

Are you kidding? The people in King County think this is the way the election really ended up, but just took this long to discover the Republican conspiracy to keep Gregoire out of office. Nationwide, she'll become a national joke.
I wonder where they found the nine votes, the toilet perhaps? If this thief actually wins, I hope the republicans watch her like a hawk and impeach her for the slightest infringement (wishful thinking on my part!).
