I found an interesting, but disgusting, website. It has tracked which companies have spent how much on which political party...and it encourages us to NOT shop at REPUBLICAN donor companies!!!
Well, to each his own, I guess. But, by doing so, they also have told Pubby's where not to shop! Add to the list of DumocRAT corp's...Progressive Insurance, the largest.

Its ironic this came from fox.
Either newscorp, or fox by itself, had over 60% of its donations go to the democratic party.

I hate to read that Barnes and Noble is on their "buy blue" list. The other decent bookstore in my area is at least visibly far worse...I can't go in there without some anti-Bush petition, book or CD to greet me.

Dang it! Costco is, as I suspected, a RAT infested bunch and thei CEO is the worst.

Most of these stores in "Red" I already shop at. Guess I naturally gravitate to the conservative sponsered chains. Hate to break the news to them, though. Small businesses donate to Republicans as well. Guess they'll have to grow their own food.

Ahhhh. Nice to know that I already support Republican donor companies with one exception.
Dang, I wish there were a BJ's Warehouse or Sam's Club in my area so I could forgo my COSTCO membership.

Darn, Starbucks gave 100% to the Dems. Not that surprises me, they are a very Liberal corporation, but I am in a dilemma, I find their coffee to be superior to any other brand processed in US. My other choice is Italian Lavazza but SB is still superior even to it. Gosh, what is a coffee addict to do¿

I always found Borders' better than B&N, maybe it's just personal choice, but their prices are better and so is the selection and availability.

You could always go the Gevalia route. Great variety. Makes you a hit while entertaining, too, since everyone thinks you're a gourmand or some such.
We do the tea thing here. Or chai. Love chai. Hot, cold, with tea, without. Great stuff. You?

I have better things to do than spend time obsessively researching companies for their politics or movies for the breakdown of the political statements of the actors, directors, financial backers, etc.
It's hard enough simply researching the quality of the products companies make or sorting through reviews to decide what to see or rent.

Oh, that figures big time! That insurance company (Progressive) was the absolute worst when it came to the hoops we had to jump through to get physical therapy approved for a patient.

There is at least one Progressive executive who made the Clinton Body Count, as I remember.
