Ummm, I suspect that things would get much messier if we invited the Israelis into Iraq. Iraqis sitting on the sideline would then jump into the game - and not on our side.
Anyway, the Israeli tactics don't seem to have put an end to the insurgency in Israel, and they've been using them there for quite a few years.

Thanks for the ping. There was a post in the last few days where Allawi said they had found a number of missiles (?) supplied by a nearby country that he could not name. The inference was these weapons were being planned to be used against polling stations. I'm searching for the post, can't find it, if I do I'll forward the link. Very interesting. Does anyone else recall this?
