WASHINGTON - The Food and Drug Administration Monday issued a warning to patients taking the painkiller naproxen [snip] for increased risk of heart problems.

I tried Naprosyn for headaches one time....no effect whatsoever, just like Advil and Tylenol. Nothing works for me but aspirin.
Birth can lead to life everafter, but you have to choose.
Not naprosyn, naproxen, if there's a difference.
You should have nice shiny hair and skin on that diet!
On an empty stomach, Naprosyn tears me up also, it's the worst. Advil is close behind.I can take celebrex with just water.
Advil and Naprosyn are O.K. with food. But about a day later, I can get what feels like cramping in various places in my digestive system, from back of the throat to the, well, very end.
back to "just ice it."
Excedrin is nothing more than Aspirin, Acetaminophen (Tylenol), and Caffeine. I would guess that it's the Aspirin upsetting your stomach.
same difference ;)
Do we see an increase in massage therapy on the horizon?
This whole business smacks of politically correct junk science. One guy dies, he happens to be on the flavor-of-the-day cox inhibitor, and they take the stuff off the market, penalizing the patients who need it and the investors who hold Merck, Pfizer, etc., stock (and create more money making opportunites for the trial lawyer leeches).
Congrats on the youngun. It's still under warranty, ya know.
synonyms provided in thread title--also Anaprox
:o)
Just damn.
Except I can take generic aspirin with no problem, drink gallons of coffee everyday, and use ibuprofen when everything else stops working. Migraines.
Except for some of us who use our hands too much in our work need that little extra "somethin' somethin' " to get through our own aches and pains, LOL
The naproxen find today was strictly seredipity--while reviewing the Vioxx, Celebrex debacle.
I injured my shoulder several months ago and since I don't trust doctors I live with the pain. By accident, I found 1 gram of Ester C taken at onset of pain works wonders. I have to do this several times a day but it works. There's no bad side effects with Vit C and it works for this problem. Do a google on Vitamin C and pain. There's lots of info.
