I liked the reference Bush made to the poll we had on Nov 2. Pretty much says it all.

Lincoln's war was unpopular in the early going. He was very worried the Copperheads, the Northern Democrats, would win in 1864, even after the twin victories at Gettysburg and Vicksburg in July 1863. The fall of Atlanta seems to have cemented the belief in a majority that Lincoln was on the path to victory.
The problem with the MSM today is they won't call a victory a victory, but tell the people its a defeat.

Election results say otherwise.

Whoa! Wait a minute here. Why are the mods suspending the poster and zotting the thread? It's a legitimate article (I checked) and it seems he followed the rules. What gives, anyway?

Its all how you ask the question. How many truly understand what the "benefits" are? We are talking about changing the world for the better and it will take many years, Its about the future, not todays cost but the security of all our tommorrows. Was the benefit of the Soviet Union collapse worth the cost of the cold war?
To: superskunk
The Washington Post links (both of them) work fine for me. However, 506trooper's link is bad.
