NEW YORK, NY, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- CBS News says that JonBenet Ramsey's killing has been linked to the rape of another little girl who took dance lessons at the same school in Boulder, Colo.
In a report to be broadcast Saturday night on 48 Hours Mystery, the network says that JonBenet's parents are no longer suspects.
JonBenet's body was found in her parents' house eight years ago. The case became a national fixation with her parents pilloried because of the suspicion they were involved in the crime and because they had pushed their daughter to appear in beauty pageants.
John and Patsy Ramsey said their daughter was killed by an unknown intruder.
CBS interviews the parents of a girl identified only as Amy, who was attacked nine months after the Ramsey killing by a man who broke into her bedroom. He fled when her mother woke and came into the room.
Both parents say they were struck by the similarities between the two crimes, but police in Boulder appeared to be uninterested.

no they didn't the police MADE them look guilty. Big difference. They're going to own boulder if this is true. 9 months after Jon Benet, and the cops sit on it.
Well, CBS has such a stellar record in reporting the news that we can't help but believe this.
Coming from CBS just how reliable is this?
Is it possible Bush did this while he was AWOL from the National Guard?

As I understand it, the original investigators found three "blood spots" on JB's clothing. They ran a DNA test on one and the results came back inconclusive. For some reason, they never bothered to test the second two spots. Now, in this latest go-round, somebody has gone to the trouble of testing those second two spots and they have supposedly come with new evidence that does not point to the parents. An interesting turn of events.
Yes, the police and the media. I also felt they were guilty because of the coverage. If this is true, the Ramseys are owed a huge apology from many, including people like me. A very sobering lesson.
I watched interviews with them.
Leave it to CBS. The country is between media overhyped trials so they have to find something.

Bummer for JonBenet's parents that CBS is the media outlet putting forth the theory ... who is gonna believe it?

I still think Dad had a hand in it somehow or knows who did.

They acted smart in my opinion, they knew what kind of feathers were about to hit the fan and let their lawyers handle it.
I never believed they murdered their daughter.
After a while I tuned out news of this event. The investigation seemed to be going nowhere. Now I am led to believe that bodily fluids were obtained. This is incredible news to me. It's astounding to learn of this at this late date.
If I had known of this years ago, I would have never suspected the parents to the degree that I had. It was my impression that somewhere along the line Jean Bennet had objected to long hours of training and a parent had snapped.
The bodily fluids not matching the parents, they are ruled out in my mind. That doesn't totally exhonerate them, but it sure turns this case on it's ear as far as I am concerned.
The local police up there must be ten rungs below Inspector Clusseau.
With bodily fluids on file, it now appears there is hope that someday a match will be found. I'm glad to hear that. I am absoutely shocked to hear that the parents could have been cleared all along. Lordy!

I don't think the Police WANT to know who did it because it might implicate someone who funds their department....someone with money, influence, etc.
Although I think they do know already. No cops can be that inept.
