"I hope your children turn out to be as perfect as you are, sir," Clinton added.

And for her sake, I hope Chelsea is nothing like you, Mr. Clinton.

And I have even apologized for it, but I never misled the people about policy and I certainly never misled the people about going to war.

"I never misled the people about policy and I certainly never misled the people about going to war."

This from the man who fired cruise missiles like they were fireworks, all in an attempt to distract the nation from his misconduct.

Ever delusional, ain't he?

Boy, he is desperately trying to burnish his "legacy", isn't he? To give the guy credit, he is quite the policy wonk, and very smart. A pity he can't keep his pants on or figure out that what looks good on paper doesn't always work in the real world.

Bull hockey. He wagged the dog. The horrid genocide he was avenging never happened according to the U.N.(Although genocide is no big deal now.)

I think that war would have been very different if today's pajama people were watching.

I never misled the people about policy...

Gee, I feel misled about the threat bin Laden posed, the booming economy based on cooked books, North Korea, Iran, etc.

and I certainly never misled the people about going to war

He most certainly did, we should have gone to war in Afghanistan.

The man should have brought up Clinton's attempt to nationalize health care, followed by Clinton's ruination of our military by cutting active divisions by 33 percent, followed by Clinton's total failure to go after terrorists who bombed the World Trade Center towers, our soldiers in Rihad, SA, and the US Cole, followed by Clinton's refusal to prosecute corporate big wigs as they looted company after company during the Stock Market bubble of 1998-2000.

Those are the REAL failures of Clinton, even though MOnica's tongue job on willie's wonka was the thing which captured most of the media attention.

Quite frankly, conservatives should concentrate on slamming Clintoon for the REAL failures and leave the stainmaker talk to the libs.

Former US president Bill Clinton still has the capacity to hold his own, as was seen when he was confronted by a man, who accused him of being an embarrassment to the whole country, during a stroll in Central Park. "You were an embarrassment to the office of commander-in- chief," the man reportedly taunted Clinton, reports The New York Daily Times. However, being the perfect diplomat, Clinton said: "Oh, really? I think I did a helluva job.... I'll admit I misled people about my personal life. And I have even apologized for it, but I never misled the people about policy and I certainly never misled the people about going to war." "I hope your children turn out to be as perfect as you are, sir," Clinton added. Clinton also spent 45 minutes taking questions from some admirers who had gathered around and then walked to a car, where Hillary Clinton was waiting for him.

This whole story sounds like BS to me. I dont think any of this actually happened.

Sorry, this article does`nt seem realistic.I doubt Clinton would to this day admit he misled anyone over Monica.
I know he did to save his hide in 1998 but today he would just walk away from a question/statement like that.
