Police Seek Clues After Fetus Cut From Slain Woman's Body
Amber Alert Issued For Missing Fetus

SKIDMORE, Mo. -- A 23-year-old woman who was eight months pregnant was killed Thursday and the fetus was taken from her body, authorities said.
Stinnett home in Skidmore, Mo.
Sheriff's deputies were investigating the afternoon killing of the woman and they were searching for the baby, who they believed could have survived.
Nodaway County Sheriff Bill Espey said, "Someone was wanting a baby awful bad."
The sheriff issued an Amber Alert for the missing fetus. Police are searching for an 8-month-old white, female fetus. It also suggested that things to look for in the case included "bloody clothing or towels, possible health issues with the fetus and a freshly cut umbilical cord."
Bobbi Jo Stinnett was killed around 3 p.m. Central, and "the unborn child was removed from her body by the person or persons who committed the crime."
Stinett was found inside her home by her mother, who called police at 3:38 p.m., authorities said. Paramedics tried to revive her; she was later pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital in Maryville, Mo.
That's the 'ethical' line in our un-ethical society. :-(
But I think the medical/legal line between fetus and baby is that first breath. That's why Geragos had to abandon his proof of Conner's being born... the lungs were liquified.
Premmies are still babies, even if the mom abandon's it in the hospital. Stillborns are forever fetuses, though, although babies who breathe and then die are babies.
We're playing around with questions like how many angels dance on the head of a pin. ;-/ I think we both agree that at conception a baby starts growing. The lawyers have to have a point at which abortion becomes murder.
I was talking to my daughter earlier that I think Laci was too appealing for the ghouls to spend much time arguing that Conner was pregnancy tissue. I wonder if this young woman will become the abortion lovers' poster child? Hope not.
Very sad all around, but it's nice to see them all squirm as they try to deny the obvious.

Do you have the link? I can't remember the site address.
Gee, could they use the word "FETUS" more in this article? The most ridiculous usage was "Police have issued an amber alert for the missing fetus" I guess even outside of the womb, a baby is still a fetus???
This is REALLY sick. What is this world coming to????
AMEN, this is no Fetus, it is a baby. I was just reading a the story Drudge has on this and they are still calling this baby a Fetus saying it was not born yet. DUH, it was born!!! It is out of the mother's womb, it is born!! Regardless, this is a child and a baby! Let's call it what it is!
During the Manson murders..Sharon Tate's baby was killed when she was stabbed in the belly..was there an attempt to remove the child as well?
I agree, however I believe it is a baby from the time of conception. But, don't tell that to the Por-choice people, they know it is true, but refuse to call it what it is!
Exactly, that is what I don't get. I thought a fetus in politically correct terms was a baby in the womb. Now we have resulted in calling a baby outside of the womb a fetus as well? Give me a break! Might as well not consider a newborn baby a human until they can walk/talk/feed themselves!
"Por-choice"
Did you do that on purpose? 'Cause it's very clever! :)
good...maybe they might find the killers...
lol... I read KTVU reports... or was it the Modbee.com this morning...
LOL... I had to have some 7UP this morning.. hangover... Barcardi chasers and beer... ;o) Ouch@@@
Megan's Law for offenders? On KCRA links, sacbee story, and most other online news who published the story. Also, on the state of california's weblink, attorney general's office.
Silly question of the day: Whatever happened to the 'o' in foetus? And when?
KCRA revised the fetus vs baby wording... now, "babay" is used in the latest updates....
I did not see your post and posted a duplicate recently.
I am very disappointed in the comments by Freepers on this incident. This is horrific - it most certainly is NOT LOL.
The following gave me chills:

Does this constitute "kidnapping" or "practicing medicine without a license"?
