I felt this really deserved a place on the forums. It would be very much fun to watch the left react to this.

hopefully this will give the GOP a good boot in the butt.

hehe you know, it will be good to have her on board for this issue. That is one less Dem to worry about voting against anything!!!

I honestly hope that no one actually falls for her crap. But I am afraid that some may....

"...entry-and-exit system so that if we are going to let people in for... work...lets have system that keeps track of them... People have to stop employing illegal immigrants."

Isnt that exactly the border proposal that President Bush is advancing?

The left? Some here on FR have already said they'd vote for her because of this alleged new stance.

Hillary may not be a credible standard bearer, but the Republicans could be extremely vulnerable on this issue. If a genuine moderate, such as Ben Nelson of Nebraska or Evan Bayh of Indiana picks it up, it could be a cakewalk for the Democrats in 2008 or even 2006, assuming they are not suppressed by the "hate America" crown in the ultraleft wing of the party.

Tony Blankley is absolutely correct on this one. It's rather shameful that the GOP will be forced to do the right thing on illegal immigration - against their will when it should be a no-brainer.

""[I do] not think that we have protected our borders or our ports ... we can do more and we can do... batter?..I am, you know, adamantly against illegal immigrants."

"BATTER" as in cake batter or as in batter-up??

No hillary we didnt know that you were "against illegal immigrants" utoh what will your party do about this now?

Listen folks, I guess we could make a deal with the devil IF
it would get all the illegals under control and booted OUT of our Country. And secure the borders (for real).

Stop the hemmoraging of money lost because of these law-breakers and their unAmerican employers.

Bush better see the forest for the trees and hitch a ride on this bandwagon and now. Hello, GOP dont go hiding your head in the sand on this one and ignore all of us.
For gosh sakes you are no where close to being conservatives anymore so at least take care of this issue!

Perhaps both the dems and the reps could come together on this issue for the good of the country.

Somehow I do not believe I will vote for someone who supports stronger borders, as I do, but opposes guns, God in public, and the military, but supports national health care and gay marriage.

Hilary has hit on the one thing that could put her in the White House. She shot her wad on the Health Insurance and struck out, but this one could do it. Americans have just about had a bellyfull of illegal immigration and Mr. Bush refuses to see it.Hillary will get behind whatever issue it takes to get herself elected. I wouldnt trust her as far as as I could throw her , but no one can say she is stupid.

Hispanics aren't voting overwhelmingly for Dems anymore, so Hillary says "shut the door!"

Pubbies better buy and clue and stop all the amnesty, etc., for illegals, or GWB is going to hand the WH to the Democrats (specifically, Hillary) in '08.

The illegals issue is a winnable issue, and Hillary is staking a position that 80% of Americans want to see. [She ain't stupid.] If GWB does sign any amnesty bill, he will probably sink the Pubbies for '08.

Words are cheap. In the clinton's case, very very cheap.

Let her propose legislation that would immediately cut govt benefits to illegals, mandate exportation of criminal aliens immediately, and a quadrupling of Mexical border patrol agents, and THEN I will believe her.
