Samoa and American Samoa aren't that big. The likelihood of being related is greater than not. I sent information about ProudPatriots to three of my cousins that could really help our cause.
I'll get back to you when I get a definitive answer. My aunties (their moms) have all stated "they'd love to help", but that's just what Bobby pulled on me. I'll get a better feel when I speak to them on the phone.

We love "u's" in our names. Except I have only 2 "u's" on my birth certificate and it's a long name. Not too bad. LOL!

Sometimes you have to wing it: In snowless Independence, Kan., 4-year-old Janina Richmond-Reck makes an angel out of leaves.

Michael's wish: Five-year-old Michael Rusing desperately wanted to play in the snow, but his family worried that his inoperable brain tumor made him too sick to travel to the mountains. So Joe Anstett (third from right) enlisted the help of a radio station and Mount Baker Ski Area to truck snow to Michael's Bellingham, Wash., home. Soon Michael, with the help of Brian Kent, was sledding like an Olympic luger.
