WHO LET THE DOGGS OUT?:Someone, somewhere, has gotten something drastically wrong.
"Snoop Dogg has just inked a deal to coach football..."
Saying it out loud doesn't make it sound any better. The rapper and "music" star turned convicted felon turned movie star turned T-Mobile spokesperson has reached a deal to star in and executive produce a feature based on his experience as the coach of his young son's football team.
According to Reuters-NY 20th Century Fox beat out several bidders and paid $1,000,000 for "Coach Snoop".
"This film is about how I learned to be a good father through coaching," Snoop Dogg said. "It's also about life lessons learned on and off the field. But most importantly during the football season, if you aren't wearing a helmet, get the f--- away from me. Football first; everything else second."
"learned to be a good father...get the f--- away from me"
Pat Tillman he sure isn't!

This is an even better "How do you know?" question. LOL Just kidding. : ) Well, once again, I don't condone it by any means. But that doesn't necessarily mean he's a bad person to be a football coach.
Because I have worked with dopers for 2yrs(volunteer at a prgram to help these types get jobs). Folks like him just don't up and quit. I said the same thing about Rodman when he said he was clean. Some on this board said the same thing to me, "How do you know?". Well, we know how his story unfolded.
Egg-sellent point, my friend! I know my volleyball coach in the 7th grade was like that.
My brother's football coach in hs had a saying when he wanted the defense to step up.. "Quit playing butt-darts with the linemen and HUSTLE!" lol
A disappointing and one-dimensional performance in Soul Plane...
Do I believe that Snoop gave up drugs completely? No. Do I believe he has significantly cut back and cleaned up his life quite a bit? Yes. Will it last? Let's hope so.
I played basketball in high school and, admittedly, we let the language fly a bit during practice. When I was a senior, some freshman's mother came into the last 30 min. of practice (which was the first mistake) and she was offended by some of the words she heard. She complained and our coach begrudgingly gave us a talk the next day. There was a complete moratorium on cussing, including him. Anyone caught breaking the rule would have to run laps after practice. We went about two days being good until one guy made a stupid play and the coach yelled out, "What the f**k was that?" We all turned, he hung his head down and just muttered, "S**t". We all laughed. To his credit he ran the laps after practice, but the next day he told us the rule was gone and just to be careful as to who was in the gym if we let it fly.
LOL!
At least he's involved in his son's life... too many urban youths do not have a father in their life.
"Sittin' on the bench, smokin' indo,
"Sippin' on gin and juice (laid back)..."
Good point. Language on high school sports teams is different than interaction in the high school building.
It is laughable (pathetic actually) to see a 40+ guy still mackin' and dopin' like he was 22 or so.
You'd think he'd be embarrassed to still make videos with multiple big asses shakin' in slo-mo to the beat [not that I don't love to see 'em to be sure ;>)], pimped-up 1963 Impalas bouncing up and down on air-shocks, still rappin' the same old 15-year-old crap, the crowd in the video just buying the whole scene, still drinking 40's, smokin' blaze, thowin' they hands in the air...
And then having those completely unoriginal videos make millions of dollars and win awards. Amazing! I'd love to see Snoop actually create JUST ONE funky bassline or beat, or guitar lick from his own head--not sampled (er, stolen!) from some great old P-Funk or James Brown tune! Snoop couldn't do it, because he has no musical talent whatsoever, just a tremendous marketing talent! And that IMO goes for P Diddy, Dre, Fifty Cent, Eminem, Jay Zee, on and on and on.
The scene is absolutely parody upon parody upon parody--and the only thing I can think of is Snoop's just gotta be laughing at us for buying his game! Cause he ain't stupid!
Fascinating...
I plead the fifth amendment on that. ;)
Cleaned up his life but hasn't he been involved in the Girls Gone Wild video craze? Sleazy is what he is.
Did you hear that Jenna Bush hung out with Snoop?
Fantastic! Snoop is really laying it all out for his community. The man's schedule is incredible, but I guess after he gets done shooting scenes for his Doggystyle Productions offerings, he'll scoot on over to the little league field and help tutor and shape the next generation of human beings!
Owl, you hang out at the Dogg Pound quite a bit - can you confirm or deny this piece of intell?
"You know, I'm going to start thanking
the woman who cleans the restroom in
the building I work in. I'm going to start
thinking of her as a human being"
