FREEP King County,WA Elections Office 1-206-296-8683 for trying to steal Dino Rossi's win

Called ROSSI campaign today at 1-425-646-7202, hope they fight this in federal court using Bush v Gore, unequal treatment.

From Nov 21-23 King County found 11,400 ballots they didn't think they had, ROSSI should take this to court and raise hell. This is what the Dems wanted to do in Florida in 2000, they've mastered it in Washington.

In the 2nd recount they went over ballots again and pulled out 750 previously rejected ballots and hand counted those.

Now another 561 ballots that were previously rejected because the signitures weren't checked because they weren't on the computer system.

ROSSI should take this to court and raise hell. This is what the Dems wanted to do in Florida in 2000, they've mastered it in Washington. This is a recount not a recanvass.

One of the rejected ballots belonged to King County Council Chairman Larry Phillips.

In checking the names of constituents whose votes had been rejected Sunday, Phillips, D-Seattle, found his own name on the list, The Seattle Times reported.

"I was under the absolute impression (that) not only I voted, but followed the instructions correctly," Phillips said. "If it can happen to the King County Council chairman, it can happen to anyone else."

My question is how such a high ranking official wasn't registered correctly to begin with, this is very fishy that he would have to fill out an affidavit to vote and then not have his signiture on file and nobody notice until 6 weeks after the election.

The point in this statement is spot on. In Bush v. Gore the US Supreme Court ruled 7-2 that Florida had violated the 14th Amendment by using different rules for the recount in some counties than the rules that applied in the rest of the state.

The Democrats in King County are doing exactly the same thing. And if the Washington Supreme Court will not put a stop to that unconstitutional conduct, the US Supreme Court should do so.

I know this stuff. I filed one of the 14 briefs in that case. (Normally, up to 200 briefs are filed in a Supreme Court case. But with only five days allowed to research, write, print and file briefs, only eight attorneys, plus attorneys for the three parties, filed in that case.)

I hope you're wrong. But, I think you're right. Every voter in this state that voted for Rossi is being robbed at this very moment.

I seem to recall a lot of people in Illinois asking us in other states to butt out of Illinois' senate race...

So, why should I listen to you? ;0)

Call ROSSI campaign today at 1-425-646-7202, they said they need observers for the hand recount in KING CO, FL. Good news on the legal front but the 561 new found ballots could swing the election to Gregoire by less than 20 votes.

Maybe that's why the court ruled the way it did, the Dems may have got the votes they need. HOPE I'M WRONG.

I posted this earlier but some may not have seen it: King Co. is named for an unpopular vice president of the 1850s, but it now claims that it wished it were named for the other popular King -- Martin Luther King!

Dino's lead is up to 106 with about 10 counties left, King county will be the last to report and the Dems will know exactly what they need to be over the top. This is a stupid system, the small counties shouldn't start counting first.

THE big counties should and everyone should finish at the same time.

There would be a record of Phillips' voter registration on file, would there not, in the computer system records. Even in the archived ones. And the microfiche. There would also be a record of his voting, regarding where he voted, etc.

It's time Rossi took off the velvet gloves and gave her a knuckle sandwich! I just pray that he will take this outrage to the higher court. All votes, including those disqualified military votes (disqualified because they were late being sent out by the election board initially -
and purposely!) should be counted. Or even better yet, a new election should be held. Do we deserve our rights if we don't fight for them? I am appalled at the Washington supreme court.
