Fortunately, the White House currently is occupied by a president who can be trusted not to sell off his pardon power. Yeah, he'll just give "it's not an amnesty, amnesty" away for free.

Most (anti-freedom) criminals never stop until they are incarcerated or killed.
Mark Rich and William Jefferson Criminal are no exceptions.

It brings up once again my favorite statement about the two most dangerous and evil politicians in American history (who by the way are not even close to done inflicting damage on America yet)...that statment is this:
G*dd*m Bill and Hillary Clinton to hell!

The interesting thing is that the CIA knew during Clinton's term that Rich was involved in violating the sanctions with Saddam, yet he chose to pardon him. If the CIA knew, Clinton had to have known.

Since Denise Rich gave $500,000 to the Clinton Library and $1.7 million to Democrats, it is easy to see why the MSM is reluctant to cover the UN's Oil-For-Food scandal.
Meanwhile, the Clinton legacy has begun to morph from "It's all about sex" into "It's all about oil" -- with a few hundred thousand Iraqi kids dying for lack of food and medicine. Recall, this was a prime reason for attacking US policy to support sanctions against Saddam.
Note: Before the Clinton-oil scandal broke, some estimates were as high as 5 million children dead.

Again, Rich's role in the Oil-for-Food scandal began only after he was pardoned by Bill Clinton. Oh, I wouldn't be so quick to state it like that, NY Post. Before Rich's name explicitly came out, we had discerned some associates of his on "the list". I suspect he was involved before but in a hidden way. I (and I'm sure most freepers) suspect the Clintons were in on a "cut" of the take, too.

Democrat Rules 101:
1) We are the brightest, most knowledgeable people in the whole world.
2) We know what's best for everyone
3) When something good happens to America, see numbers 1 & 2 above so we can take credit
4) When something bad happens to America, see Newt Gingrich, Tom DeLay or George Bush.
5) When we get caught in something illegal, we can't remember a damn thing.
Concerning this scandal, Hillary will return the money and/or apologize the day she wears a knee-length skirt. It ain't going to happen.
