They have betrayed their liberal principles ...
That works for me !

The 3 jurors did amazingly well considering all they have been thru. They were careful of what they said, chose their words carefully and came across as mature, clear thinking, and very FAIR. I also sensed that the three jurors had great respect for each other.

"Jutin Falconer was removed because he failed to abide by the judge's instructions and talked about the case. He didn't obey the rules."
Right...and what about the other one?

My daughter had her tonsils removed last Friday. First time it's been quiet around here in ten years :o)

Mine wailed... "why did you have me". I told her "organ donor. Might need a kidney."
Yesterday I had her convinced that we had to pay $5 every time we watched her Simpson DVD. "Direct Variance Deposit" required on DVD's (that's why they call them DVD's for pete's sake!)after December 1st. Showed her the barcode. Said the cable box reads the barcode and we get a bill, but if you want to pay the five bucks......
I was Homer Simpson free for over 5 minutes. Then she handed me a Fiver (out of my purse)and stole the remote.

You are just about the only one I know who thinks that way about Feiger. Personally, I think the guy is a good lawyer but I believe that in Michigan, lawyers don't much like him. He ran for governor. I would like to see him run for Attorney General. He's quite an actor, he's slick and he's candid, but what is wrong with that? Those would be qualities I would look for if I needed a lawyer.
Law is not logical and legal claims including criminal acts are about winning. I haven't yet figured out where justice fits in. I believe it is only as good as the jury (if one is requested). Too many juries lead with their hearts by internalizing instead of weighing the evidence. I believe this is part of the reason lawyers get a bad rap when a frivolous suit is won and damages are ridiculous. The lawyer is only doing a job, he has a living to make too so why not ask for good pocket money.

I'm not sure how the death row law works, or should I say doesn't work here in California. My brother-in-law to be is an officer and he took us on a tour of the Fresno jail once. I'm glad I was on the other side of the bars, I can tell you that. I'll have to ask him about the death row process and law here.
As publicized as this case is, it may bring some reform to the law one way or another.

He stills wins the five dollar donation.
SP won't get toasted.

More likely, Scott Peterson will have lots of female penpals now that he is on death row. For some reason, lots of women like losers like him. Too bad so many like him turn out to be murderers.

He's quite an actor, he's slick and he's candid, but what is wrong with that? Personally, I'll always dislike him because he stiffed an artist friend of mine on a couple of paintings that are the pride of his office. Cheap creep!

Forget Blake, that's just an intermission. We're really waiting for the Michael Jackson trial in January.
