Sen. Clinton against illegal immigration [By primary-time, she'll belong to the NRA]
(UPI) ^ | Dec. 13, 2004 | wire

Washington, DC, -- Sen. Hillary Clinton's hard-line against illegal immigration is seen by some as the Democrat's attempt to solidify support for a 2008 presidential bid.

Clinton, D-N.Y., who has received the liberal moniker for her efforts as first lady in the 1990s, may be trying to win support in conservative states by coming out against illegal immigration, the Washington Times reported Monday. In fact, the paper reported, Clinton's stance is more conservative than President Bush's, calling for an entry and exit ID system for immigrants.

You make a good point that Hillary had nothing negative to say when Bill Clinton pardoned 17 Puerto Rican terrorists.

She also agreed with his decision to auction off our 11,000 acre, $30 billion dollar, Naval base at Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico to the highest bidder and give the proceeds of the sale to the U.S. Taxpayers.

Now, what did Bush do about it?

Did Bush put any of the 17 Puerto Rican terrorists, that violated the terms of their paroles by protesting the Navy presence on Vieques, P.R., back in Prison?

No!

Did Bush put any of the 4, ski-mask-wearing, Puerto Rican terrorists that fire-bombed a Navy convoy, on Vieques on 8/10/2001, in prison?

No, he let them walk!

Did Bush cancel the Naval base auction and order our Navy to stay on Vieques?

Well, there was no reason to have an auction, because Bush just gave everything away to the ingrates in Puerto Rico for FREE!

Not much to choose there, if you ask me. ;^)

"Savage? You mean everyone. I can't imagine any student of politics who didn't see Hillary's swing to the right."

True. But Savage had a monologue a few weeks ago specifically predicting Hillary aggressively taking on illegal immigration.

a Howard Dean type to challenge her for the Dem nomination?

He'd have to make a right turn too --- and he also is already doing that --- I saw him on one of those Sunday morning shows talking about how democrats go to church on Sunday and believe in God blah blah blah. And he even came out and said that democrats will have to make sure more people know that they aren't as pro-abortion as they've been made out to be.

The democrats know the Christian vote cost them this election.

Now is a great time to exploit her abition. We need to get some of our important measures on the Senate floor for a vote.
Then she will have to vote for them or show that she is a phoney.
What sweeter victory than to force Hillery to actually vote conservative.

That should read, "as Evangelical a way as feasible..." I truly believe that Martians have landed here and have been feasting on Hillary's gray matter. Her White House motives, while transparent, are still quite bizarre. A total Dem implosion over the next four years would be quite welcome.

At this point, I wonder if Hillary's so power-hungry that she wouldn't become a Republican again if it would help her get back in the White House.

You make a good point that Hillary had nothing negative to say when Bill Clinton pardoned 17 Puerto Rican terrorists.

She demanded he do it just like she demanded more attention be spent on her Senatorial campaign than Al Gores campaign (which is why he lost, but you`ll never hear about that from Michael Moore) Bill felt he owed Hitlery for the sexgate scandal so she played Bill for all he was worth. That`s the only reason she is now Senator.

She also agreed with his decision to auction off our 11,000 acre, $30 billion dollar, Naval base at Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico to the highest bidder and give the proceeds of the sale to the U.S. Taxpayers.

So what? What`s a naval base doing in Puerto Rico anyway?

Now, what did Bush do about it?

Who cares? Bush wants nothing to do with the Clinton holocaust.

Did Bush put any of the 17 Puerto Rican terrorists, that violated the terms of their paroles by protesting the Navy presence on Vieques, P.R., back in Prison? No!

Probably because Hitlery would use it against him. Like I said, Bush wants NOTHING to do with ANYTHING the CLintons were involved in. Why would he? If the Ricans attack again, who gets the blame? HITLERY. Bush washed his hands of that. These crazy bastards are running around because of her just like Marc Rich was running around making oil deals with genocidal tyrants like Saddam a week after Billy pardoned him.

Did Bush put any of the 4, ski-mask-wearing, Puerto Rican terrorists that fire-bombed a Navy convoy, on Vieques on 8/10/2001, in prison? No, he let them walk!

Well I would think that would be the last freggin` thing on his mind after 911.

Did Bush cancel the Naval base auction and order our Navy to stay on Vieques? Well, there was no reason to have an auction, because Bush just gave everything away to the ingrates in Puerto Rico for FREE!

Well he sure as hell would never run for public office in another state on a platform of putting the people of that states lives in danger. Hitlery did that. She barged into NYC and ran on a platform of freeing terrorists that bombed the city 130 times. That was her whole message. That`s what she ran on. Why? Because she is a psycopath. I just can`t imagine Bush running on a platform "I will let Al Qaeda run amok in your state if you vote for me" I live in NYC... That`s how liberal this city is. That`s why Hitlery ran in this place. Not much to choose there, if you ask me. ;^)

Hint, the lowest bidder with workers who don't speak English should receive careful scrutiny, especially if you are a demagogue on immigration issues.

So, what questions should a person in Tancredo's situation ask or what paperwork should be requested without taking the risk of violating somebody's rights?

What would get her elected is if no other politicians are taking up the issues that people will vote for.

The point here is, if someone actually starts espousing what's important to voters, that someone will win. The mystery is, where it's a natural conservative issue to protect the borders, the integrity of US citizenship, and our cultural values, why aren't the "conservatives" with us on this one?

The obviously have to turn right to win the Prediential election but if they make the turn to hard and to early it may really tick off the socialists in the party opening the way for a left wing candidate to steal the nomination.

Thats what pisses me off the most about most cantidates, especially sinawhores. Kerry is a great example but almost all of them work. They have spent many years doing nothing about anything that matters.

I want to see a governer stand up to the system and to the feds.

"All of us can HOPE that the Deaniacs "RossPerot" themselves and deny Hit Rock Bottom With Hillary Rodham in 2008."

I'm not sure. Hillary seems to get a free pass in DUmmyland. A few weeks ago, they had a diary on a similar left-wing blog to "post your appreciation/admiration" of Hillary. Hundreds of entries. It was good that I wasn't reading it after lunch.

But there is a cult of the Clintons among many Americans. And they just can't do any wrong with their base.

"The problem she may face is the angry Michael Moore crowd who may vote Green or stay home in large numbers come election day if she moves to far to the right in their minds."

Michael Moore will use his roots in Flint, MI, to discuss the horrors of outsourcing, and how the business elite wants illegal immigrants for slave labor.

He will be on the Hillary bandwagon if he thinks she can win. He's a tireless self-promotor, and he'll hitch onto any wagon that benefits himself.

"Hillary Clinton... for a Stronger, Middle Class America"

We absolutely NEED to nominate an anti-amnesty candidate in 2008, or this witch will trample right over us.

"This has to do with HISPANICS now out numbering BLACKS as the largest voting minority on the block! It has to do everything with currying favor with BLACKS!"

Many African-Americans are very anti-illegal. Their communities are being overrun worse than white neigborhoods, and many poorer African-Americans are also competing with illegals for jobs. Even the LA Times had an extensive string of stories on this issue.

"I don't think there is anyone in the Deomcrats party that can deny Hiliary the nomination. And the fact that she is gong to run as an "Iron Lady", (strong on defense, strong on borders and finscally responsible) should scare the hell out of the open borders, borrow and spend globalist GOP."

Hillary has studied Thatcher extensively. She has supposedly reread her biographies several times. She admitted on tv that she colored her hair blond on advice from Thatcher's autobiography, which suggests that women over 40 look better as blonds.

I would bet that Thatcher is Hillary's #1 role model. We should be studying Thatcher's progression for clues on Hillary's likely actions.

I agree on the need for a pro-border control candidate for the GOP.

However free trade was a Clinton hall mark which is something Moore detests. If Moore does back Hillary then he'll prove himself to be even more of an opportunistic shill than I thought he was.
