WASHINGTON Jerome R. Corsi, a leader of the Swift Boat Vets and POWs for Truth campaign against former Democratic presidential candidate Sen. John F. Kerry, is hard at work on his next political project: preparing American public opinion for what he sees as a likely war with Iran.
"The world cannot tolerate the potential that these mad mullahs would have a deliverable nuclear weapon, even one, secretly developed," Corsi said in a recent interview. "They might just launch on Tel Aviv. The moment the world intelligence community becomes convinced that could happen, either the U.S. alone or the U.S. plus Israel or Israel alone will seriously contemplate a preemptive strike, and I'd be in favor of it."
Corsi's credits include a doctorate in political science from Harvard University and more than 10 books. He was not a Swift Boat veteran himself, but rose to fame as coauthor of the bestselling book "Unfit for Command Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry." The group was accused of distorting the facts of Kerry's Vietnam War record, but their campaign was nevertheless seen as damaging to Kerry's candidacy.
The group also raised millions of dollars for television ads attacking Kerry, although the Bush campaign insisted that the group was not acting on the president's behalf.
Corsi, who believes a U.S.-Iran war could occur as soon as March, said his Iran campaign is an independent mission, with no backing from either the White House or from the Swift Boat veterans group. His forthcoming book on Iran's nuclear program, due out in 2005, is funded by an advance from publisher Joseph Farah, editor of the conservative website WorldNetDaily.com.

"I'll be working with Dr. Corsi on this effort, by the way."
If I ever can be of assistance please let me know.
I know nothing of Iran BUT I'll be glad to spread the word.

Jerry Corsi bump!
Thanks, Tonk, I appreciate it.
Thanks for the ping!
Go Jerry!
The Mullahs with an A-Bomb is a terrifying possibility!
That ongoing demolition of Kerry will happen.
Actually, you meant "about his FELLOW Catholics" didn't you?
If we're serious about going full force at the terrorist threat we will have to confront Iran.
Yep.
They accomplished their mission, and it doesn't seem they want to pursue it any further unless it becomes likely that Kerry will run again for President.
These men took their own time and money (and what was donated) and some of them had no rest or time at home until Kerry was defeated.
I think most of the donors knew the money was to bring as much out to expose Kerry's lies and treason as possible so he wouldn't be elected President, not to spend their lives doing this.
They served their Country TWICE (once in the Nam war and again during the last year or so) and deserve to be private citizens again.
I'm no expert, but that's my take on it.
Corsi, who believes a U.S.-Iran war could occur as soon as March...
Hmmm ... very interesting. Thanks for posting this.
[It's amazing how generous I am when there's an open bar...]
It's always difficult to schedule these things to everybody's convenience, particularly when nuclear weapons are involved.
You speak for me, too. The marxists have hijacked our history. We need to get the truth out there, and keep it out there.
Anybody with a high school student at home, ask to see their history book. Check out what is included on the Founding Fathers, on the wars you're familiar with, specifically Vietnam, and on the Republican presidencies from Eisenhower through Bush 2. In most states, local school boards approve the teachers' or principals' recommendations for textbooks. Ask to see the Board policy on textbook approval. Make sure you're there when your influence can count.
Parents of college students, encourage your child to take solid courses on American History, whatever their major happens to be.
Beware of the trap my daughter fell in to. Her professor assigned a "research" paper, using only notes from class and the textbook. After a lot of thought, she used the above criteria, then added original sources and library books to provide a more complete and accurate picture, and also spoke out in class.
Swifties, keep putting the truth out there!

Let me know if I can help out!
(jrlc - I'm adding you to my ping list, ok?) Infrequent pings to Swift Boat issues.
