You speak for me, too. The marxists have hijacked our history. We need to get the truth out there, and keep it out there.
Anybody with a high school student at home, ask to see their history book. Check out what is included on the Founding Fathers, on the wars you're familiar with, specifically Vietnam, and on the Republican presidencies from Eisenhower through Bush 2. In most states, local school boards approve the teachers' or principals' recommendations for textbooks. Ask to see the Board policy on textbook approval. Make sure you're there when your influence can count.
Parents of college students, encourage your child to take solid courses on American History, whatever their major happens to be.
Beware of the trap my daughter fell in to. Her professor assigned a "research" paper, using only notes from class and the textbook. After a lot of thought, she used the above criteria, then added original sources and library books to provide a more complete and accurate picture, and also spoke out in class.
Swifties, keep putting the truth out there!
take a look at the "history" books by howard zinn. for example, his "a people's history of the united states".
the technique of evil is to analyze everything from hindsight. obviously, we know more now than our leaders did in the past. and then zinn turns on our leaders using these hindsights and attacks them.
life has a lot of unknowns, but not for zinn. he lambasts american leaders for not making his correct decisions.
the result is a hate-america history, widely copied in academic circles.
another exponent of this technique is mike davis who wrote "city of quartz", a history of los angeles. you need to take a shower every chapter or so. davis who has only a bachelors' degree, in invited to teach around the united states; the last i heard, at princeton, thus contaminating another generation with hate america.
