I often do not agree with people on this site and encounter no problems. Perhaps if you behaved decently and developed a sense of humor neither would you. There are many different opinions expressed here. The only ethnic group that gets lots of well deserved abuse here, are the Islamic extremists. Sure the Mexicans, Europeans, and all other countries get a little abuse, but that is more of a result of disdain of their countries policies.

Our forefathers were amazing and obviously blessed by Him. America is truly an admirable country but Americans, per se, have certainly lost their clout. My mother, an immigrant, says that my father parents were very decent hard working people and probably typical Americans of previous generations. Something happened with my father's generation that for some reason out of the 7 siblings they all turned out to be dysfunctional at worst and mediocre at best. My father being the exception of course. Although they received harsh parenting, they didn't seem to learn discipline or real faith.

My mothers family, from South America, are devout Catholics and all 12 of them are extraordinary individuals. They are well educated, have loving families, they are dedicated parents, and are good to a fault. My mother claims that the sexual revolution changed the great characteristics of Americans in this country, but there are still many great people.

I always argue this point with foreigners who think that all Americans are obese, sloppy, Jerry Springer type characters, who are completely ignorant of the rest of the world.

Obviously, they shouldn't simply judge everyone because they went to Disney World once on gay day, or stumbled across a Denny's in a bad neighborhood. In any case, those judgmental people are simply of the same school as those who judge immigrants so harshly.

Isn't this a site which promotes our constitutional right to free speech, (Judging by the banner on the homepage which declares it defends our constitution. A cause I wouldn't mind writing a check for.). How can you get banned? Free speech is the freedom to express ones opinion openly and without fear of censorship or reprisal regardless of whether some find it offensive. In truth, there is always going to be someone who takes offense.

Are you saying they discriminate concerning what can be freely said on the basis of whether they approve of or offended are by it? That would be unamerican.

I can see what you mean about other people posting offensive things. I've seen quite a bit of that in the religion section, where it seems that they continually bash one another's religions. They're not getting banned, not should they be. Thats what free speech is.
If they do otherwise, that would make the administrators hypocrites and liars.
