Gary Webb, a prize-winning investigative journalist whose star-crossed career was capped with a controversial newspaper series linking the CIA to the crack cocaine epidemic in Los Angeles, died Friday of self-inflicted gunshot wounds, officials said.
Mr. Webb, 49, was found dead in his Carmichael home Friday morning of gunshot wounds to the head, the Sacramento County Coroner's Office said Saturday. He left a note, but officials would not disclose its contents.

you'd be complaining that they were whitewashing Really. Generally, if someone commits suicide, it's okay to say that - using that word. If they injure themselves, but survive, it's okay to say that, as well.

You're missing it.
The point is...what if these officials are trying hard not to use the s-word...??? Then I'm glad the reporter let us know that, aren't you?

I personally booked Freeway Ricky Ross' coke supplier. He was intelligent, clean cut, and a officer in the FDN. Oh, he was Nicaraguan.

His allegations were fodder for liberals ... most notably Maxine Waters. Just another way the white man kept the black man down. Eventually his ideas were debunked and his career feel apart.

Maxine figured out what was in it for her and got her car salesman husband appointed Ambassador to the Bahamas. (who bit*hed and felt insulted)

No, I would love it if you had the last word, saying that you finally had stopped for a minute and considered the point I was making. The complaint you made should be directed at the OFFICIALS, not the REPORTER. I
think this reporter did what so few do...report the occurrence without a spin. That's rare and should be applauded, not attacked.
Merry Christmas to you, too!

theories they advanced were determined to be false. The Dan Rather school of journalism: they conveyed a higher truth than mere verifiable facts.

One shot is sufficient for two holes unless it does not come out the other side.
