Here's more on the market bombing in the southern Philippines.
They say there have been recent threats by Muslim militants from the Abu Sayyaf group, which is linked to the regional militant network Jemaah Islamiah (JI).
Last time we were there, the Phil government was far more interested in taking us to the cleaners, foriegn aid wise, then they were combatting terrorism. I feel bad for the average citizens, because their government doesn't have it's priorities straight.
