Can it be done?

I read a lot of posts on FR where members express their views about how unhappy they are with the current situation in many areas.

I am wondering if there is serious support for an action plan organization that could change the way politicians tend to look at us voters. I am fed up with them bowing and scraping to us only for our votes when their election rolls around. These pork bills come out of our wallets! I'm positive they believe we have the shortest term memories anywhere in the world.

At election time we get a truckload of hollow promises and lots of self agrandizing stories about how much backbone they have. When we were upset about the President boosting Senator Arlen Spector up enough to guarantee his re-election, did anyone listen?

When the Senator was scared about not being selected for the top spot on the Judiciary Committee, he got on national TV to feed us a line of bs that would have made LBJ proud. So, we got on the faxes and phones until Bill Frist's office was overloaded with calls saying,"Keep him out of that chair!"

What were the results of signing the petitions, the emails, faxes and phone calls? Zip, nothing at all, he almost came out and said, "Voters, the Presidential election is over, your views once again do not have any value here in Washington. We will do what we want to do, so screw you!" So, some more hollow promises about how good the RINO Senator will be and that he wouldn't step in the way if President Bush wished to appoint a truly conservative judge, after all the Senator is a Republican!

Then we have the INTEL Bill that had some effective immigration laws attached. The President begged the Senate to remove them, they did. Then he started in on Congress. What did they do? They removed them too, giving us some more hollow promises about what they will do at the beginning of the year to correct the illegal immigration problems here in America.

Just how stupid are we? If they haven't done a damn thing that can be considered worthwhile in the past four years, what makes you think the tiny zebra is going to change its stripes and become a beautiful 18 hand Morgan stallion in 2005? What will be pushing them to pass some effective immigration laws in the 1st quarter of 2005?

What would you think about starting an organization that will tell all State and Federal elected officials that we are demanding a B+ or better rating to qualify for the list you will all use for your personal voting decisions at every election from now on.

I have selected three issues I consider to be vital to reinstate our American culture. Issue#1 Support for the 2nd Amendment (Molon Labe)

Issue#2 Support for bringing a rapid halt to the illegal alien invasion from all countries, not just Latin America. This would of course include a drastic reduction in taxpayer supported benefits for all foreigners. The removal of all who are not citizens or do not have authorization to be on American soil. Strong support for a Bill that would bring a halt to automatic American citizenship for babies delivered by a woman who does not have the proper permission to be on US soil.

Issue#3 Support for removing the United States from the United Nations and the removal of the United Nations from our soil. I want to see the dissolution of every treaty we have ever made with the UN because a treaty has one purpose and that is to reduce the sovereignty of a sovereign country.

The U.S. Supreme Court invited world opinion into its consideration of capital punishment. When a foreigner commits a felony on US soil we should ask the International Court of Justice what the punishment should be.

I want to see the mandates of our courts obeying the US Constitution not the Communist Manifesto or the UN Charter

How many of you know that the words "progressive" and "socialist" are goals of communism. Yes the US Communist Party was protected once again last year from having to make their donor list public. Should this be happening under a Republican Senate, Congress and a Republican President? I don't think so!

When the Republican Senate passes a package of 34 treaties, all of which were ratified by a show of hands -- no recorded vote. and a Republican CONGRESS SNEAKS THRU-THE NEW DOMESTIC-TERRORISM-BILL (SNIP)
someything is wrong. Dreadfully wrong. What they did was waved the rules and voted on it with the 20 people that were present.

20 Senators do NOT represent America!

If our leaders think this is the way that we want our government to operate (behind our backs) then one day they will find the US Marines will be aiming their rifles at them and that is not the end of the barrel you want to be looking at Senator! Or men such as myself will be chained, on our knees waiting for the shot in the back of the head while the rest of you walk in lockstep with Patriot Act II.

Our President keeps sorry Democrat buggers like Secretary of Transportation Norman Y. Minetta in his cabinet. Minetta, who think pilots should not have guns in the cockpit would rather see 80 year old women felt up by security guards at the airports. Say what you will but there is serious problems in the Republican Party and serious problems amongst Republican voters who accept these policies. Looking at this poll there is 20% who aren't happy with President Bush's choice of Alberto Gonzales for Attorney General? Other polls show that 80%+ are not happy with the way he and Congress are handling the immigration invasion.

I want us voters raise the standards of we will accept, not humbly fall in line with what the politicians say we are allowed to have. If 10% of the voters decide to start an action plan organization that tells the legislators what grades they will need for re-election, I think it could have a serious effect on when and how closely they listen to us.

When or if you reply, please give an indication if you would want an organization such as this in your state. If you have other ideas about how to get elected officials to listen, lets hear them. We have something here that needs fixing! Let's do it before it is too late.

There are many organizations trying to do the things you've suggested. Unfortunately, just like political parties, there are power struggles within them, just like here on FR. It's more than difficult for law abiding citizens to fight corruption and greed. Corruption and greed and downright law breaking by them gets them the funds to have the power. Immediately what we can do is stop purchasing from businesses who are breaking the law (and let them know loud and clear why) and contributing to elected officials to perpetuate their schemes. We have to stop paying for our own destruction.

Also, we need to find the way to expose every beltway bureaucrat that is hiring illegal help and encourage legislators like Sensenbrenner and Sen. Inhofe.

A good organization for illegal migration seems to be:

This is a question I have pondered and I've come to the conclusion that there is something that can easily be done and which will be about as effective as any strategy.

I've concluded that my own personal strategy to address very similar concerns is to switch my affiliation from the Republican Party to the Constitution Party (something I have not yet done, by the way).

Here is my thought. Just because I change affiliation does not mean that I'm not going to exercise common sense and vote Republican when necessary. However, my switch then becomes part of the statistics that the Republicans consider when setting their own platform. Additionally, when I make the switch the Republicans will come to realize that I'm on *SOMEBODY ELSE'S MAILING LIST* for political donations and support.

And, who knows, maybe if enough people were to make the switch then some day I would be in a position to vote with both my head *and* my heart!

Yes lets nominate a Conservative Republican "Porker"

And organise to get him kicked out of Office!!!!

We will let him know what we are doing and It is too late to appologise.

Let the media know that it is Conservatives who are leading the movement to oust Him...and then Doggedly work to get him kicked out!!

maybe then these gutless Republican wasters will start to
be a little more Ficscally Responsable.

In fact lets start right now...

Who is the worst Tax waster/Porker republican???

Specter? Snow? Who out there is willing to start the

nominations?

I'm sick and tired of talk...and forgiving these 2 faced

RINOS!!! a good ASS-Kicking is in order.

Count me in.

I don't have the time to organize anything in Arizona, but I will support such a group, if someone else gets it going.

I'm making the same switch.

I would have done it before the last election, but the Constitution Party never returned any of my e-mails.

Good idea, Duke about dropping your R registration. Any political party takes notice when their numbers go down. Rush quoted a Gallop poll that states Repubs are registered with 38% of those polled, 31% independent and 30% democrat.

Another freeper posted this site that sounds interesting.

"Other polls show that 80%+ are not happy with the way he and Congress are handling the immigration invasion. "

Where do you get this? President Bush has advocated immigration reform and strengthening border security. That's what all the polls show the people want.

The polls show that the people support the same things President Bush supports.

If all Republicans and Democrats switched over to the Constitution Party we would see some very cautious tiptoeing by these power hungry, greedy, corrupt legislators.

They would be as nevous as a bunch of whores waiting on the church steps for a $5 date to show up. Just imagine them having to ask us what we want everytime they get ready to make a move. The $5 date would be in charge once more of what services the prostitutes would provide.

When you switch parties, be sure to send a letter to the RNC explaining why.

I too am thinking that it is time for this lifelong Republican voter, donor and volunteer to switch parties. However, I'm considering the American Patriot Party because I think that their plan to endorse major party candidates when they align with the platform of the American Patriot Party will be more effective political strategy. I also think that the way they have set up their organization to avoid some of the problems other third parties have encountered is wise. The party is in its infancy but to me holds the most promise.
