Moyers Exits PBS With Attack on 'Right-Wing Media'

Taxpayer-supported Democrat operative Bill Moyers is showing his true colors (all blue) by tainting his exit from PBS with an attack on what he describes as "right-wing media."

"I'm going out telling the story that I think is the biggest story of our time: how the right-wing media has [sic] become a partisan propaganda arm of the Republican National Committee," the Associated Press today quoted Moyers as saying.

"We have an ideological press that's interested in the election of Republicans, and a mainstream press that's interested in the bottom line. Therefore, we don't have a vigilant, independent press whose interest is the American people," claimed Moyers, who next week is leaving his weekly series, "Now."

Moyers failed to mention that, unlike himself, the few conservative media that do exist aren't on the American taxpayers' dole.

He also failed to mention that for decades the left-wing media establishment, ranging from PBS and NPR to the New York Times and the CBS of Walter Cronkite and Dan Rather, has been and continues to be a partisan propaganda arm of the Democratic National Committee.

Perhaps the wire story is satire, but it describes the extraordinarily biased Moyers as "a citizen-journalist" who was on "a truth-telling mission during his three decades as a TV journalist."

The story does admit that "humanist" Moyers used to be a top aide to the very liberal President Lyndon Johnson.

Moyers' liberal rants have been increasing in recent years, perhaps owing to the increasing success of the Republican Party, which now controls the White House, both houses of Congress, the Supreme Court and a majority of state legislatures and governorships.

This past Election Night, Moyers even went so far as to suggest that if Kerry won the election, the right wing might stage a coup to keep him from taking power.

A roadside breath test, which is not admissible in court, showed Moyers' blood-alcohol content to be 0.10 percent, above the legal limit of 0.08, according to authorities. An admissible test about 90 minutes later showed Moyers' blood-alcohol content had dropped to 0.079, within the legal limit.

I like it when these left wing ghouls say that Fox is a "right wing network," but CBS is a " broadcast news program." Or Ann Coulter is a "conservative commentator," but Dan Blather is a "iconic news anchor." God, these subhumans in the MSM make me ill, and I'm in a good mood today. The most disgusting part is that they think they and their comrades are fine people indeed, and only guilty of the sin of trying to bring enlightenment to the toothless ones, like me.

"Media" is plural, Mr. Moyers.

>> Relative to Moyers, there is very little to the left, and a whole lot to the right.

Exactly. Everyone is to the right of that left-wing extremist, Bill Moyers.

"I'm going out telling the story that I think is the biggest story of our time: how the right-wing media...
For his story to be successful he needs to build up his characters a bit, like giving them names.
Then again, he does say he's telling a "story" (a lie?) so he may not have or need any characters.

I'm going out telling the lie that I think is the biggest lie of our time...
It could happen! /Tenuta impersonation

Nobody controls the SCOTUS, unfortunately, but I understand what they mean. If Kerry had won I think a coup would have been a fine idea.

I think they often value idealogy over money. In publishing in particular, but tv too.

The worker's flag is deepest red
It shrouded oft our martyred dead
And ere their limbs grew stiff and cold
Their life-blood dyed its every fold

I'm certainly enjoying watching this changing of the guard in the lamestream disloyalmedia. Watch closely now, this is equivalent to what Glasnost did to the Former Soviet Union back in the day. They will spin and cycle trying to find new liberal icons and continue to spiral downward. Finally they will ask our people to come in and save them.

Be of good cheer. Though the battle be hard and the way home appear long, the momentum will increase and reduce the time and distance exponentially. IOW, it' all comin tumblin' down.

As exits PBS he ought to immediately enter a mental hospital if he thinks the media is right wing.

The sturdy German chants its praise
In Moscow's vaults its hymns are sung

Ummm.... I'm pretty dang sure Dan Rather doesn't have any teeth. That's why he makes that funny whistling sound when he talks.

America, for whatever reason, doesn't care for useful idiots feeding them "news." Things are changing, mostly for the good. Having said that, Canada and Europe are essentially closed societies with their fourth estate, or fifth columnists, or whatever you want to call it. For the longest time, Canada wouldn't allow Fox to broadcast, and Fox is but a sea of idiots with six first rate reporters thrown into the mix. I am trying to say that now is the time to send this revolution beyond these shores.
