My wife and I just printed this petition and filled it out. It took 5 minutes to print, fill it out, and put in an envelope.
THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. GET OFF BUTT AND DO IT NOW!
IT IS A PETITION TO STOP THIS ILLEGAL ALIEN LUNACY.
INITIATIVE MEASURE TO BE SUBMITTED DIRECTLY TO VOTERS The Attorney General of California has prepared the following title and summary of the chief purpose and points of the proposed measure:
DRIVERS LICENSES. COLLEGE EXPENSES. PUBLIC BENEFITS. ELIGIBILITY OF ILLEGAL ALIENS. INITIATIVE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT. Prohibits aliens unlawfully in United States from obtaining: a drivers license or government identification card; a college fee or tuition exemption; government grant, contract, loan; a professional or commercial license; or any other public benefit not required by federal law. Authorizes any state citizen to sue to enforce prohibitions, requires State to defend initiative, and provides costs and attorneys fees to prevailing party.
Makes any elected or government official who willfully violates the prohibitions personally liable for litigation costs, attorneys fees, and actual damages.
PLEASE! DON'T DO IT FOR ME. Do it for your yourself and your kids, AND your country.
HERE IS THE LINK. Go to it now, and take 5 short minutes to fill it out, and mail it.

What good will it do, we already voted for prop 187 and some Federal judge threw it out. The Feds want immigration, we have 65 million people getting ready to retire, how many kids did you have Joe ?
LOL keep trying.
I BUMP you to.
Why isn't there an immigration ping list?
"The Feds want immigration, we have 65 million people getting ready to retire"
Just eliminate the unconstitutional SS and Medicare and that problem is solved.
The only reason #187 didn't survive is that Davis and the AG refused to appeal that judges ruling.
Since this is totally a California issue the normal ping list isn't much good.
"Prohibits aliens unlawfully in United States from obtaining: a drivers license or government identification card; a college fee or tuition exemption; government grant, contract, loan; a professional or commercial license; or any other public benefit not required by federal law"
maybe i'm naive, but why is this a bad thing?
Save the Date!
January 15th is Save Our License Saturday.
We are asking activists throughout the state to schedule a location and time for signature gathering. Email us at locations@saveourlicense.com and we post locations on the Save Our license website, and publicize it as best we can.
This will begin the final push. nts. If you know you will be gathering signatures at a particular location. please let us know.
The AG was instructed by Grey Davis not to appeal. And we are unlikely to see Arnold lift a finger in this regard, either.
"And we are unlikely to see Arnold lift a finger in this regard, either."
Then it will be time to repeal that RINO and elect a real Governor!
The same thing is happening in Arizona. The Feds are not going to stop immigration. We shall see what the plan is for reform but I'm not counting on it doing much.
What planet did you come from?
As a lifelong Californian I can tell you that description guarantees that after going to the fuss, bother and expense of passing this initiative, the courts will invalidate it for addressing more than one issue.
How often has that happened in the last 30 years?
We are outnumbered, remember ?
It's only about denying services to illegal aliens and penalizing public employees that ignor the law. Only one issue!
And what lesson would that be? That the Judiciary are to be regarded as unopposed dictators? That the will of the majority can be wiped out at a stroke of the pen, and we should roll over and take it? That the Federal government can both refuse to do their Constitutional duty to protect the borders and simultaneously deny the States and the People the means to pick up their slack?
What I'd truly love to see is the AG of some border state sue the Feds for the costs incurred because they haven't controlled the borders. It seems there is actionable cause under Article IV, section 4, under which the Feds are required to "protect each of them [States] against Invasion."
Are you advocating murder by lynch mob? Remember how well that worked out for Robespierre. I prefer the Rule of Law to the Rule of Mob Justice.
If there's no border security there is nothing "intelligent" about the bill. Talking heads saying nothing about the obvious issue support ... uh ... what?
The "yeah, yeah, we'll get to it" doesn't cut it.
Is the emperor clothed or not, Bayou?
It worked real well in Los Angeles!
There is ... there are. Start with "immigrantlist" as keyword.
Maybe you weren't around in L.A. during the last set of riots, but I was. Vigilante "justice" consists of pulling people from their cars and bashing their heads with cinderblocks.
Hey, no justice, no peace, right? Maybe the Mob will decide that dalereed has offended this week and hang him from the light pole. Maybe throw in his wife and kids while they are at it. It's okay, dalereed would understand.
