A Marine who needs your prayers

A former student of mine who is serving in a honor guard unit in D.C. was attacked by two men on Saturday and stabbed in the stomach. The aorta which passes through the stomach and a major vein was damaged. At one time he was not expected to live. He was given 11 units of blood to survive.
I talked with his mother today. He is recovering and will be moved to a private room from ICU. His mother said today they can feel the prayers of praying people.

I find it disgusting that the same nation this Marine is willing to give his life for, makes it "illegal" for him to defend himself against thugs in that same country.
Maybe some of his Marine buddies will go dish out some justice.
If I was on the jury, the Marines would walk.

Yes. The Lord wathed that young Marine get stabbed. Those men will have some explaining to do.
