More Lies From Christine Gregoire... (AP Wire: Washington orders third count in governor race)
Associated Press ^ | 6 December 2004 | JosefK

Posted on 12/06/2004 11:41:31 PM PST by JosefK

Below are important excerpts from the AP wire:

... Besides demanding a new recount, Democrats are asking the high court to order election departments to reconsider several thousand previously rejected ballots and potential trouble spots. These include questioned "provisional" and absentee ballots, including hundreds where the voter's signature was missing or didn't match the one on the voter registration card. ... Added Gregoire, "I love Dino's line `If you count and count and you count again, what do you get?' You get yourself a governor, Dino, because it's over at that point."*

...

Republicans are more upset with the Supreme Court case than with the notion of yet another vote count, said Mary Lane, a Rossi spokeswoman.

"Our problem is not a by-the-rules statewide recount," she said in an interview. "That's fine. That's the law. What we strenuously object to is this lawsuit Christine Gregoire has put forward and her attempt to change the rules midway through a recount.

"Christine Gregoire isn't interested in a fair recount. She wants this to be as inaccurate and as corruptible as possible. She didn't get the results she wanted, so now she wants to change the rules. Anyone who is concerned about the integrity of our election system should be very worried."

State GOP Chairman Chris Vance agreed: "Democrats keep trying to change the rules so they can overturn the will of Washington voters." ...

I decided to use excerpts due to my miniscule understanding of copyright laws.

*Governor-ELECT Dino Rossi said, "If you count and recount and recount and keep on counting until you finally win, what do you really have in the end? An ILLEGITIMATE governorship, that's what you have in the end."

I will post some of this at http://josef-a-k.blogspot.com within an hour to update my news rolls...

Surprise, surprise..............surprise!

I really feel sorry for the folks in this State. (My birth state as a matter of fact, but I don't now nor ever called it home) This election will be stolen from them, and I hope they know that.

We are getting very nervous. I have never been to a protest but will take to the streets if she steals this election.

Democratic governors were in power in Washington State when the recount rules were established. Now that they find themselves sucking hind tit they say those laws are wrong. And this is what our education system is turning out. YUK!

I predict MASS protests if Gregoire 'wins'. I will do anything I can to see that we march on the capital, torches lit, demanding she resign.

I hope you do and wish you luck.

The dems are going to throw everything they have at this. They are playing the same games they did in Florida in 2000.

They have to be careful though, this time.

The only thing you can do is try to make sure the current stated laws and judgments are adhered to and scream bloody murder if they attempt to change any rules that were not in force at the time of the election.

Louisiana has a similar problem where New Orleans tends to dominate State interests. In Arkansas, where I live today, Little Rock just does not have the numbers to do this.

It is one of the flaws of the more pure forms of democracy at local levels. Seattle should not dictate to the rest of the State, but it does.

I thank God for this Republic that the founders gave us and it too is under attack. They want to eliminate the EC. If they ever do, we are finished as a country.

I think they are looking for volunteer observers currently.
I offered myself up for the cause.

I have called the Gregoire hq a few times to give them my opinion. I have convinced almost everyone at my workplace that Gregoire needs to concede.
I am unclear on what our options are if she does steal the election. I have been busy lately and have not done my homework, but have heard that if she "wins" and the election is contested then it goes to the state congress and senate for a vote. The congress and senate are both dem controlled so that is a promised loss.
Chris Vance, the republican chairman, said on the radio that is he looking into all possible legal avenues now in anticipation of her stealing this election. Of course the WA state republicans are know for having no spine so they will need encouragment which I will be happy to give again and again.

Christine Haywire is part of the foul stench in this state that represents radical socialism. The Democrats look at that 42 vote count difference and laugh...Hell!... they say, we can find 42 votes in a heartbeat!...They suck!

THE FINAL FRONTIER:

The object of the recount is to BOLDLY GO AND FIND VOTES WHERE NO VOTES HAVE BEEN FOUND BEFORE!
