AIDS rate for homosexuals climbs; data called 'astonishing'

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)--New statistics showing that homosexual men make up 44 percent of all new HIV and AIDS cases underscore the fact that homosexuality itself is unnatural, a prominent leader in the ex-homosexual community says.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released data Dec. 2 showing that the number of newly diagnosed HIV and AIDS cases has increased 11 percent among homosexual men. The data spanned a four-year period ending in 2003.
Despite the fact that homosexual men make up only 1 to 2 percent of the population, they nonetheless made up more than 40 percent of the new cases, the data showed.
Tim Wilkins, head of Cross Ministry, Inc. -- a Christian outreach to homosexuals -- called the data "astonishing."
"If homosexuality was normal and natural, you would not have a disease that spreads as ravenously as this does," said Wilkins, who is married now but once was involved in homosexuality.
Homosexual activists responded to the news by calling for better education and prevention -- for instance, the promotion of condom usage. But Wilkins said the problem can be found in homosexual sex itself. Men were not made to have sex with men, he said.
"All of mankind is physiologically heterosexual -- that's just a fact," Wilkins said. "One hundred percent of the homosexual community is physiologically heterosexual.
"We can throw more and more money, bigger budgets, bigger programs, more education [at the problem]. And we see that education is not correcting the problem at all."
For years, studies have shown that homosexual men are prone to promiscuity. A University of Chicago study released in 2003 found that 61 percent of homosexuals in Chicago’s Shoreland area had more than 30 sexual partners. Perhaps just as telling, some two-thirds of same-sex "marriages" in Massachusetts have involved lesbians -- underscoring, pro-family leaders say, the notion that homosexual men are less prone to commitment.
"[The CDC] statistic obviously shows a pathology that indicates an abnormality," Wilkins said. "From a Christian perspective we would call it sin."
Such statistics should result in the scientific community re-evaluating its position on homosexuality, Wilkins said.
The Christian church, though, should not respond by saying, "I told you so," Wilkins said. Instead, the church should respond with compassion.
"We can't allow sin in any form to repulse us from reaching out to people who are hurting," he said. "As horrible as AIDS is, it can be -- and I believe it is -- an opportunity for the church to reach people who are broken."

It is very apparent that Kinsey, Masters and Johnson, and other "celebrated" sex researchers engaged in falsifing results in order to adhere to their own desired outcomes.
Sad when you consider how valid data would have benifited society.

The women that get it via sex get it via anal sex. Guys do NOT get it from women. There are tons of reasons to use protection, and be extremely cautious, AIDS is certainly not something I ever fear.
That's EXACTLY what the media did in the 80s, tried to make people believe that everyone is susceptible to it... One of the objectives was to remove the stigma as a "gay disease". The other is to promote disproportionate funds for fighting it.

My bet is that they lowered the rate to 40% by creating the psuedo-category "bisexual"... As if the fact that a homosexual might also have sex with a woman means that he is something other than a homosexual.
Most of that is via anal sex... In addition, these stats are based on what the infected men say. Admitting to being gay has a stigma, drugs are illegal... so, the easy way out is to say they got it from a hooker

They're killing themselves. The only problem is that they are adopting kids and molesting them to to keep this emotional disorder ongoing.
If that's the attitude behind a big chunk of the infections, I have a really hard time justifying the expenditure of (more) gargantuan amounts of tax money into curing them. There are many, many more deadly diseases out there, and since this one is overwhelmingly controllable through behavioral changes, the disproportionate funding of AIDS research and the consequences of that unbalance should be alarming to all.
After about three years the frequency of Aids found in intravenous drug users (heroin users) edged up. This was due in part,as you said,to a willingness of homosexuals to attribute drugs as causal,rather than admit to their homosexuality. This may have done to avoid telling their families of their proclivity or to protect the homosex community from adverse publicity that might result in behavioral sanctions.The Public Health Director in San Francisco was unable to close the bath houses for many years even though it was common knowledge that sex with strangers was responsible for spreading the disease.
Then bisexuals wre introduced into the mix,babies born to HIV positive mothers,some heterosexual Aids in women (many were prostitutes and some others were intravenous drug abusers),persons who had blood transfusions and some health care workers who had been stuck with dirty needles and some who had contracted it by getting contaminated blood on broken skin. As you can see,many of these categories bled into one another. But,I never saw the figure of male with male sex go below more than 1 or 2 per-centage points below 70%.
So I was quite astonished too,when I read that homosexual Aids rate were climbing and had reached 44%,I cannot help but believe that is just bunk.
Excellent points. Simple common sense and addition shows us the real meaning of these figures:
48% homosexuals
27% needle users (very often prostitutes, often male prostitutes, and who infected the needle first?)
7% Both categories.
So - 82% is from homosexuals AND needle users. It's really the same category as one bleeds into the other (no pun intended), and it is also a fact that drug use is much higher among homosexuals than the population in general.
