CNN says there are propane tanks in the vicinity of the fire. KTRK says this is a chemical fire according to CNN. Firefighters are being very conscious of the dangers. Huge plume of black smoke above Houston.

Hopefully it was started by some of those ELF maggots, and they got caught in the inferno. I bet unwashed Birkenstocks stink when they burn, though.

Is that a propane tank in the center of all that?

From KTRK-TV: "The fire is reported to be burning at the
Marcus Oil and Chemical plant, a wax technology company located near Fondren and South Main."

The location of the chemical plant which exploded is near South Main (which is Highway 90) near the intersection of Fondren. Highway 90 goes to Stafford TX and Missouri City, and Sugarland TX. This is in the southwest part of Houston, outside the 610 Loop.

Why do I keep rading about fires in manufacturing plants in Texsa lately?
Is Texas a soft target for the Islamic-, environmental-, and La Raza-terrorists?

Go a bit northwest of Bhopal, and you've got your prime suspects. I do note that all employees are accounted for, which makes an accident not as likely.
