MADRID, Spain -- Three or four explosions have been reported in Madrid -- at least one at a gas station -- after a warning from the Basque separatist group ETA, state radio said Friday.

A telephone caller issued the warning in the name of ETA, saying five bombs were set to explode at 1730 GMT, Basque newspaper Gara reported on its Web site, according to Reuters.

Radio stations later reported four explosions. The blasts were small and no casualties were reported, Reuters quoted the reports on Radio Ser and National Radio as saying.

One device exploded at a gas station near a highway packed with people leaving the city for a long holiday weekend, the news agency Efe quoted the station manager as saying, according to The Associated Press.

ETA is considered a terrorist group by Spain.

Well, of course, at a minimum, but I still think he'd love Toldeo in the Spring.

    GOOD!

I don't mean to be a heartless pric*, but it's healthy for the rest of the world to see the ROI you get with a PEACE at any cost policy!

This is the third article posted on this. I guess no one knows how to use the "search" mode anymore. Not to mention looking under Breaking News to see if someone had already posted it.

This has to be a hoax. Spain, in an agreement with terrorists to not attack Spain again pulled out of Iraq.

Not only has socialism never solved anything, it always ends in a breakdown of society, and ultimately war, mass murder, famine.

"ETA is considered a terrorist group by Spain."

How subjective of the Spanish. Just because they try to achieve political ends by blowing things up and killing people, while supporting themselve through criminal means. I hate MSM qualifiers like this.

ETA is considered a terrorist group by Spain. Yeah, you think? What does the MSM and specifically CNN call them?

You almost have to feel sorry for the Basques. They were terribly persecuted under Franco, almost as much as the Jews were later persecuted under Hitler. In fact, there was a strong Basque resistance movement that sprang up, and one night all the leaders got together to plot how to win their freedom. Unfortunately for them, Franco's government got wind of the plot, surrounded the building, and set it on fire. There was only one way out of the building, and so most of the plotters perished.
This is why you don't put all your Basques in one exit.
(yes, all of the above is just a joke.)

Whether or not this is the ETA, Islamists, or a collaboration, the Spanish need to wake up and remember their history. After that, they need to unfurl banners with this guy on it:

The train station bombing of 3/11 was also initially reported as the work of the ETA.

This is just another step in the "recovery" of the "Holy Land" of Al-Andalus from the infidel.
