This is what you won't see in the paper. This is what you won't see on CNN or on MSNBC or CBS News or on any major media Web site anywhere and especially no goddamn way ever in hell will you see it within a thousand miles of Fox News.
You aren't supposed to see. You aren't supposed to know. You are to remain ignorant and shielded, and, if you're like most Americans, you have been very carefully conditioned to think Bush's nasty Iraq war is merely this ugly little firecracker-like thing happening way, way over there, carefully orchestrated and somewhat messy and maybe a little bloody but mostly still patriotic and good and necessary and sponsored by none other than God his own angry Republican self.
(snip)
Or maybe you think war is manly and heroic and cool, as exemplified by that now-famous shot of that macho "Dogface" Marlboro-smokin' Marine whose dirt-encrusted mug was eagerly picked up by newspapers and media Web sites across the nation (including this one), and he became an instant icon for the war and the military was positively giddy about using him an ideal recruitment tool, a model of how to make soldiers look all studly and rugged and badass as opposed to the often poorly educated, disposable hunks of politically abused postpubescent meat
So then. Here is your uncensored truth: fallujahinpictures.com. Real pictures from Fallujah. Real pictures of war. Brutal and explicit and shocking and just one site of many. Be warned: this is very graphic content. Horrific and deeply disturbing. No censorship. No suppression. No Photoshop. No bogus shots of happy Iraqi children running in the streets begging for candy from American soldiers. No night shots of Marines in bitchin' night-vision goggles bustin' down the door of some palace and then cheering.

That Pervert has "issues" And an agenda.
So who give a rat's hairy @$$? Sometimes, war is necessary, because the alternative is worse.
Were you there, morford, when they were pulling dead bodies out of the wreckage Pentagon?
Were you there, morford, when they were pulling dead bodies out of the wreckage of the World Trade Center?
Were you there, morford, when they were jumping off the top floor of the World Trade Center to avoid burning to death?
Were you there, morford, when they were pulling dead bodies out of the USS Cole?
Were you there, morford, when they were pulling dead bodies out of the wreckage of the Khobar Towers?
Were you there, morford, when they were pulling dead bodies out of the wreckage of the Murrah Building?
Were you there, morford, when they were pulling dead bodies out of the wreckage of the USMC barracks in Beirut?
Do you, morford, like to revel in pictures of these things?
The islamic fanatics you so love, morford, will continue to create these scenes of devastation until we put an end to them. As we are currently doing in Iraq. I know you lurk here, morford, you puling pusillanimous pansy. Why don't you try addressing these questions in your next column? If you have the balls to do it, that is.
I don't want to know how you obtained that information.
I'm fairly certain the little poofter lurks on this forum ...
"There are NEVER comparative images of Iraq under Saddam when tens of thousands were brutalized "
Wow - you're not looking hard enough! I've seen some pretty intense, graphic images and mpgs at consumptionjunction.com of Iraqis being tortured.
That said, war is hell and the images this Morford tool links to are nothing unexpected.
Thank you for the link to the pictures, they are very humbling to say the least. I only wish the woman who wrote the article would have posted some of the thousands of pictures of Saddam's torture. Let's keep things in context freak. Thanks to our military and their family's for the sacrifices they make.
Sometimes...
when you cry...
no one sees your tears.
Sometimes...
when you are in pain...
no one sees your hurt.
Sometimes...
when you are worried...
no one sees your stress.
Sometimes...
when you are happy...
no one sees your smile.

But FART!! just ONE time...
And everybody knows!!
Boy, she stinks!
The gritty details of obtaining HUMINT are usually best left out of the intelligence briefing.
What about shots of happy Iraqi children flying kites? No wait. They were in Moore's movie. Those shots are perfectly acceptable.
I'm sure the bone smuggler POOFS in here like the Bad Fairy to read the evil homophobic things we say about the he/she.
I can only say, THANK GOD IT lives in San Fa*cisco, where it belongs.
LIVE FREE OR DIE!!!
Personally, I wish those who speak for Conservatives would simply stop trying to explain Iraq's connection to terrorism or WMD or anything else and simply ask whether the left supported Clinton's regime change of Slobodan Milosovic (without UN approval). Because if they did (and they DID), then they are now undermining the moral of our brave soldiers (who are fighting and dying for the left as well as the right) for political purposes. And there is nothing more loathsome than this type of opportunism.
Again, your facility with "keywords" leaves me stuned. (Well, after I'm done laughing, that is)
She does. She told me once.
I was judging by his way of writing.
I can't take credit for all of them. I have some recurring greatest hits that I use.
Morford imagines himself the engineer of a runaway locomotive, careering through life scattering the clueless cows as he madly races through the meadows of his mind when in reality he is just a butt-weary toy-train driver in the amusement park of delirium.
