President Bush and First Lady Laura spent the evening at the Pageant of Peace and lit the National Christmas tree. Earlier in the day, the First Lady gave photographers a tour of the decorations at the White House. Also earlier, the President announced the cabinet appointment of Nebraska Governor Mike Johanns as Sec. of agriculture. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!
You know what they say--a late PING is better than no PING at all!
I thought maybe you were at a WH Christmas Party and were going to post pics of you dancing with the Pres. :-)
Excellent Christmas pics, Rintense! Thanks for the ping--I'm in jingle-jolly mood now!
Thanks for the early morning Pics of our President and First Lady
White House Christmas ping
Hi Rinny,
Thanks for the Dose. I fell asleep early last night too! LOL.
Must have been a Manic Monday kind of Thursday,eh?
Good morning. I'm enjoying the Dose with a bowl of oatmeal sprinkled with cinnamon & pecans. Beautiful pictures.
Good morning - thanks for the fine Christmas Dose.
I was at the pageant with my three older daughters and it was a great experience. These little pieces of Americana make us different and IMO better than other countries.
Thanks for these beautiful pics of our country's most elegant couple.
rintense, thank you. Our First Lady Laura is so beautiful and gracious - still shudder to think of what it would've been like with Tuh-Ray-Zah!
If you want to bash our president, I KNOW you are at the thread & at the forum
Forgive me if I might have "misunderstood" your words/intentions. and welcome to FRee Republic (I think)
Thanks for the thread and your work Rinny. I appreciate all the effort I now this takes. I fall asleep early often. When our bodies tell us to rest, we need to respect that.
Don't worry sleeping beauty lovely morning surprise
Hmmm...seems to have happened in the Tiggywinkle family too!
Thank you for the morning Dose. ;o)
The Nigerian president looks rather somber. Any info on his world outlook?
I love the simplicity of those trees...flocking and tinsel. Simple elegance, just like our First Lady.
tree lighting '..watching President thank participants..'
I felt the same way!! It brings a smile to my face when I see him go to shake hands with "the people". He's such a wonderful, good man. I had the great fortune to shake his hand when he visited St. Petersburg, FL during the campaign...he's just so genuine..gives a firm hand shake.....AND, he has the most beautiful BLUE eyes!! God has blessed us, once again.
Thanks for the ping, Rintense!
