Welcome to TGIF at the Finest!   We hope you've been having as much fun as we have with our essays and/or spotlight on various FReepers. From the beginning, we've been kicking back on Saturdays and Sundays and simply reviewing the features of the week; our weekend threads now start on Friday and continue through Sunday. I will, Nan. At first I thought you were going to get to Alexandria and then felt uncomfortable driving to D.C. for the Ball. After re-reading what you wrote, I see you are looking for traveling buddies from W.V. Any folks from Ohio going by your way? Any way you can take a bus or train from your home?

Sistah, I think I will wind down for the day. It's been a good day. I accomplished a lot. The kids arrived safely in N.C. with my baby to visit relatives. Jack gave me a pretty hand-crafted bag. Got several gifts of candles and crafty items. But the finished living room (9 ft. ceilings) is the best thing. I'm thankful for good health, for Emma, for my family, and for Kathey who helps me get things done. She is my right arm.

Thank you for helping to make my day fun as well.

Actually I could make the drive to Alexandria by going the back way through Virginia and north instead of north and in through Maryland. The biggest deterrant is knowing that hubby does not really want me to go and he won't go with me. I don't want to stress him and heavy traffic driving stresses me. I guess old age is making me more cautious. I used to go anywhere without even thinking about it. I'm really going to bed now. God bless.
