Why Women Should Not Vote - Single women elected! (you can not make this stuff up)

Why Women Should Not Vote

-And, if a single woman should win an election, that would mean the government would have to construct a separate building for her.

- Then of course the problem still exists of finding women who are willing to work in village or small towns. If the women are willing then they would need male escorts to stay with them there, in addition of course to finding male drivers since women are not allowed to drive here.

-Those who have been following the Arab News will know that the council of ministers had called for more rights for women and had asked ministries to employ women by creating separate female departments. Other businessmen have suggested we create “female industrial cities” exclusively for women.

Wow, and the Dim libs are defending this culture. It is astonishing what a liberal will defend because of their hatred of Bush. Imagine, women going through this, Bush working to liberate them and liberals condeming him for it.

I'm sure the women wouldn't mind at all.

I liked this paragraph:

I think Saudi women have more important things to concentrate on for the present. One of them is to insist their names be heard in public. Currently, the social norm is that uttering a female’s name in public is taboo. That is why all Saudi wedding cards that are distributed to male guests say, “We would like to invite you to the marriage of the young man so and so to the daughter of so and so”. Her name is never mentioned. Her name being mentioned to men is a taboo.

Saudi women know that. Yet that custom exists. Wouldn’t fighting for her own name to be heard be better at this stage?

Imagine how hard it will be for a female politician to campaign for office if it is forbidden to utter her name?

Heck, if it wasn't for women, Bill Clinton would not have won his elections. Something to ponder....

Fine with me if I don't have to do all this work every election cycle. It is 99% women who do all the work at the Republican HQ, PAYING for the signs and bumper stickers. Manning the HQ. Manning the polls on election day. Sure, take my vote away, and jump in and DO ALL THE WORK THAT OUR LADIES GROUPS DO HERE TO GET THE CONSERVATIVES ELECTED.

By the way, I know MORE liberal men than women. MOST of the women I know here now, small town Texas, are conservatives. But sure, take my vote away, just be sure you jump in and DO ALL THIS WORK FOR US. We women are tired of carrying the entire burden for all the lazy men anyway.

Plan to spend 8 or more hours a day at Repub. HQ in my place. I am sure you guys can work that into your schedule.

SHEESH!

Unbelievable! Arab culture is so backward--still living in the Stone Age.

But are these folks any more bassackwards than the racists here who would give Condi Rice 6/10ths of a vote and put her on trial for war crimes that should be blamed on Bill Clinton and the U.N.?

Not that I like to side with a sand goblin, but there's some truth to this.

The first thing women did in the US upon getting the vote was back Prohibition. And we all know about those besotted soccer moms who kept turning out for Dirty Billy.

Perhaps women need to own property in a red-state ZIP code before getting franchised. That would probably do.
;-)

The majority of people in hell are women. Mohammed said, "I was shown the Hell-fire and that the majority of its dwellers are women. -QU'ran..Vol. 1:28, 301; & Vol. 2:161; & Vol. 7:124

Mohammed said,"After me I have not left any affliction more armful to men than women." Qu'ran 7:33

-AND-

Qu'ran.. Volume 4, Book 54, Number 516) Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "If anyone of you rouses from sleep and performs the ablution, he should wash his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out thrice, because Satan has stayed in the upper part of his nose all the night."
Widely believed and followed.... and its TRUE too as far as I can tell.. but cleanup is hard when there is no water.. or even if their is water.. No wonder when Sadaam was captured they were looking up his nose... talk about a spider hole..

Just to play devil's advocate here, did he say this right after his wife pissed him off about something?

But sure, take my vote away,

With respect, if it would take all the liberal women's votes as well, then I would have to agree that women should not vote.

They vote security, not freedom.

I'll probably get flamed for saying this, but what the hey: it has always bothered me that such superficial tactics actually affect the outcome of elections. I have no scientific basis for this, but I suspect that having women in the voting process is a large part of the reason that this kind of campaigning works as well as it does. In general terms, women seem to respond much more to emotional appeal and the bumper stickers, signs, and catchy slogans all fall into that category. I became confident that Bush was going to win when I heard a normally apolitical woman I work with say she couldn't vote for Kerry because he "just seemed so creepy".

Think of it this way: the greatest percentage of women in this country vote liberal. Therefore, one of the ways that a conservative woman could strongly support the conservative cause in the US would be to promote the revocation of the voting franchise for women (yes, I'm well aware that this is a pipe dream).
